After the events of last night, Emerald woke up on the Saturday morning feeling more refreshed than usual, she had got all her feelings out in the open and now she felt, she could move on with her life ,no more blonde ferret to worry about

Or so she thought...

As she was making her way down to breakfast and into the great Hall ,she felt a strong pair of hands clamp down on her shoulders, she didn't have to turn round to know who it was

"Hello Blaise" she smiled warmly, something that had been coming much more naturally to her recently

"Hello Trouble" he joked "I heard your were in a foul mood last night, want to tell your favourite person why?" He said mock seriously

"I guess I should probably tell Flint, shouldn't I?" She teased him making him pout and look at her with puppy dog eyes
"I'm only joking you idiot, of course you're my favourite person" she reassured him
"it was nothing honestly ,just a bad day" she felt bad lying to him but she knew it would only put him in a bad mood for the rest of the weekend

"Hmm if you say so" for the record he knew full well she was lying but knew she would talk to him when she was ready, she always did.

"Fancy coming Quiddich supply shopping with me and Flint?" He offered trying to brighten her spirits "it's been ages since us two hung out" he spoke quietly

"I think I'll have to pass" she said apologetically "I know nothing about Quiddich and besides you and Flint need the bonding time" she joked

"Whatever you say" he laughed "wanna hang out tonight?, mother owled me over a bottle of firewiskey, we can share it like old times" he was referring to the many occasions they had snuck fizzy beverages out of the Gaunt cellar back when they were younger, it usually ended up with Blaise in a sugar coma ,Emerald smiled fondly at the memory.

"I'd like nothing more" she smiled and waved him off ,walking back towards the common room deciding that she was going to start the new book her father had sent her, she walked up towards her dorm, opening her expensive leather suitcase and rifling through it for a few seconds before pulling out a copy of 'Wuthering Heights" before closing her case, grabbing a blanket and her book and making her way back down the stairs.

The common room was pretty much empty , with the exception of two or three younger students , studying for their homework. She settled herself down on the sofa and opened her book, she was so enthralled by it, the topics, the imagery, the characters, that she hardly noticed someone sitting down next to her.

"Hey Em" Theo said chirpily

Emerald almost jumped out of her skin "Salazar Theo!!" She clutched her chest mockingly "are you trying to give me a heart attack" they both laughed

"So what's got you so distracted?" Theo asked the girl, taking in her relaxed appearance, there wasn't many times where she didn't look utterly intimidating and this was one of those times, she was wearing a vest top ,black leggings and a fluffy cardigan over the top, her perfect hair was in soft waves around her shoulders, Theo couldn't take his eyes off of her.

"Promise not to judge me?" She asked him seriously

"I'm not promising not to laugh if you're reading one of those muggle pop up books" they both burst into a fit of giggles again

"Theo!" She slapped his arm

"Ouch! okay I'm sorry I'm sorry I promise I won't judge" he laughed at her and she showed him the cover

"Good book that is" he said honestly, grinning at her surprised face

"You've read it?"

"Of course I have, father used to have this massive library ,full of muggle books" he explained "I bet she'd have been fit in real life" he said to Emerald looking at her mischievously
