Chapter 23

Heeseung ran down the stairs to the basement after hearing something.

 "I'm gonna kill whoever didn't put the baseball bats properly" Heeseung said as he turned on the light to the storage room

 But he didn't expect to see a beaten and bloodied boy laying on the ground. Heeseung widened his eyes in horror. 

"Is he dead?" Heeseung said going closer to the body

 "Ahhh!" Heeseung screamed as he saw a closer look of the limp body and a pile of blood next to it. Heeseung was about to get a teacher but he realized that he was just talking to the last teacher in the building and they had just packed up and ran home.

 "Oh no there's no other adults and the janitor doesn't come for another hour" Heeseung groaned

 By then the boy probably wouldn't even be alive. Heeseung had no choice and attempted to carry the body. Upon closer inspection of the face Heeseung realized it was Yang Jungwon. 

"He's in my science class isn't he?" Heeseung asked himself as he dragged Jungwon up the stairs

 Suddenly he felt Jungwon squirm as he reached the exit of the school. 

"You're awake" Heeseung said slowly sitting Jungwon down on the bench outside the school exit

 Jungwon groaned at the bright light shining into his eyes. He could taste the coppery taste of blood in his mouth. 

"Do you know what happened?" Heeseung asked

 Jungwon was about to tell Heeseung about what Taeha did, but he knew that Taeha could do anything and he couldn't risk his dad losing the business. 

"No I don't remember anything" Jungwon lied rubbing his head

 "Hm ok can you walk for a bit? Just until we get to my house" Heeseung said

 Jungwon nodded. 

"I'm Heeseung by the way let's be friends" Heeseung said helping Jungwon get up

 "Sure, I'm Jungwon" Jungwon said back

End of Flashback

And that's the story of how Jungwon ended taking Taewondo lessons a week later.

 Still to this day no one knew about what happened between Taeha. 

"Jungwon? Jungwon!" Heeseung shouted waving his hands in Jungwon's face

 "Huh? Oh" Jungwon said as he began coming back to reality and slowing his breaths

 "Are you alright?" Heeseung asked

 "Yeah let's go" Jungwon said walking down to where the others were

 "Where is he?" Jay said looking around

 "Is he here?" Jungwon asked running down the stairs

 "Nope no where to be seen" Sunoo groaned

 "Let's just go guys, I t-think I hear people coming" Taeha said

 "Bullshit, no one's gonna come to this musty place" Jay said looking behind things

 "Yeah we have time to look for Sunghoon" Jangmi said

 Taeha rolled her eyes pretending to look for Sunghoon

 "It's no use, I think we got the location wrong" Jake said

 "And who's fault is that" Taeha said saltily

 "Let's not get mad at anyone, at least he helped us somehow" Jangmi said

 "And how was that?" Taeha said

 "Let's just get out of here is getting harder to breath" Ni-ki said

 "Agreed" Jungwon said coughing

 The group walked out of the room. 

"Let's go out this door" Jake said pointing to the exit right next to the storage room

 "Finally fresh air" Jangmi said as she walked out the door

 "Guys what's that car doing here?" Jake asked pointing at the black SUV parked in the parking lot behind the school

 Taeha widened her eyes.

 "Wait is that a person with a bag over their head" Ni-ki said looking at the black seat
