Chapter 28

"But wasn't Taeha the one who kidnapped him and locked him in that storage room for years?" Jake said

 "But that's the thing, what if she had someone helping her such as Sunghoon's mom" Jangmi said

 "Why would his mom do that? I mean he was a good student and had a promising career in figure skating, isn't that what all moms want for their child?" Jake said

 "That's what doesn't make sense, why would his mom do that too him" Jangmi said

 "Also, where do you think Taeha hid Sunghoon before the school closed, I mean the school still was opened like three years after we graduated" Jake said

 "I know a lot of things don't really make sense, but I'm sure we can figure this out" Jangmi said

 Just then Heeseung strut to Jake's side. 

"Whatcha talkin bout" he said as he scurried over to them

 "Nothing" Jangmi said

 "By nothing do you mean something?" Heeseung smirked looking at them

 "No I mean it's none of your business" Jangmi rolled her eyes

 "Geez rude much?" Heeseung pouted

 "Whatever say you're prayers to Jake and let's go it's getting late" Jangmi said

 "Prayers-"

 "That's right"

 "Guys let's go it's getting late and we should probably let them rest, they've had to deal with you guys" Jangmi called out

 "Hey-"

"Rude." 

 "What's gotten into you?" Sunoo said

 "Bye guys cya tomorrow!" Jangmi said as she waved at Jake and Jay

 Then struggled getting the group of guys out of the room.

 "Geez I'm tired" Jungwon said

 "Me too, let's go to the car then drive to Jake's place that's where all of our cars are" Jangmi said

 Jangmi was exhausted, they all were but she didn't feel like driving

 "I'm not driving" Jangmi said as she quickly got into the back seat and buckled up

 "Hey that wasn't fair we weren't ready" Jungwon whined

 "Feels bad I guess" Jangmi said

 The boys groaned. 

Jangmi watched in satisfactory as all they played rock paper scissors to see who would drive. In the end Sunoo ended up having to drive to Jake's house. Once they all arrived at Jake's house, they parted ways and got into their own cars. Jangmi was the last to back out of the driveway, but as she backed out she saw something in the rearview mirror. 

It was a beaten and bloody Taeha standing there on the other side of the road across from Jake's house smiling back at her. Jangmi gasped in terror. But when she looked back Taeha was gone. 

"I could've sworn I saw her though" Jangmi said to herself

 But in the end Jangmi just decided that she was imagining things and that the events from that day were just messing with her. Still she couldn't get that haunting image of Taeha standing there smiling evily at her. 

Once Jangmi arrived at her apartment, she hurriedly ran up to her apartment still scared that Taeha was gonna show up there or something. Once in the comfort of her own home she collapsed on the couch. 

"It's been a rough day" Jangmi said to herself

 She planned on brushing her teeth and going straight to bed, not even bothering to eat. Once Jangmi was in her comfy pjs she got under the covers and immediately fell asleep. But that image of Taeha still haunted her in her sleep.

Jangmi's Dream: 

Jangmi was in a room full of mirrors. Suddenly one by one the same beaten and bloody Taeha appeared on each mirror one by one. 

"Hah! You think you'll be able to get rid of me that quick? Just because you found Sunghoon doesn't mean you'll be able to keep him! I will get Sunghoon this time and nothing will get in my way!" Taeha yelled

 As her voice echoed throughout the whole room. Jangmi covered her ears as she fell to the ground. But no matter what, she could still hear Taeha's voice.

Suddenly Jangmi woke up gasping for air and drenched in sweat. 

Without any hesitation, Jangmi quickly put on her coat and headed to the hospital to tell Jake about what she had just seen.
