Chapter 8

Jay's POV: 

"Whatever whoever this is, is probably playing a joke on me" Jay said angrily

 "I'm going to the police" Jay said putting on his coat

 When he got outside, there was a note on his window.

You better keep you mouth shut about this. If you dare open your mouth to anyone but S.J. J.J. or K.T. then I'll make sure your little friend suffers far worse then he already has. - Anon

"Whatever I'm done with this" Jay said as he ripped up his note and drove to the police station

 Once arriving at the station he told the police about the box and even showed them the box

 "Sir, do you know who sent this?" the police officer he was working with asked

 "No that's why I came here" Jay said

 "Alright we'll do some testing, please wait out here it shouldn't take too long" the police officer said

 So Jay sat and waited in the waiting room. But there was something he couldn't keep off his mind. The initials that were on the note. 

"Who's initials are those?" Jay thought to himself

 He must have known them right? Or else why would this person put those initials there. As Jay sat there and thought, he hadn't realized it had already been 30 minutes.

 "Alright Mr. Park we have the results" the woman said

 "Yeah what is it?" Jay asked

 "Uhm well, the person who gave you this box must be really good at covering up their tracks because the only prints we found were yours" she said

 "So uhm what are you gonna do about it?" Jay asked

 "Well for now we'll ask you to take home the items and we'll just work with the results that we got, if we find out anything we'll call you" the woman said

 "Alright thanks have a good night" Jay said walking out

 "You too!" the woman called out

 As Jay walked out to his car, he noticed it was getting late and he was tired

 "Man it's been a rough day" Jay sighed as he started his engine.

The next day...

Taeha's POV: 

Taeha was tired and scared the next morning but regardless she still had to get up for work. To be honest she really thought of calling in sick but she really didn't want to use her sick days on something like this. So she dragged herself out of bed and into her bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror.

 "Man I look rough this morning" she said as she looked at her puffy eyes and poked at her puffy face

 Suddenly she got a call

 "Hm from work?" she said

Taeha: Hi Kang Taeha speaking!

Workplace: Hi Mrs. Kang! We just wanted to let you know that an unexpected malfunction happened in the building therefore work will be cancelled for the next week

Taeha: Oh really? Ok have a good day Mrs. Yoon!

Workplace: You too Mrs. Kang enjoy your week off!

As soon as they hung up, Taeha squealed out of excitement 

"Yassss I get the whole week to myself" Taeha said

 "Hm maybe I should book myself that hotel I've always wanted to stay in" Taeha said

 "Just for two nights, that's it" Taeha said as she went on the website to see if they had any rooms open

 Luckily it was still the week day and not many people stayed on those days so she was able to find herself a one person suite

 "I should get packing and then drive there, my check-in is at 12 pm" Taeha said.

Jangmi's POV:

Jangmi was walking up to her office with Jake as they entered her office together to begin working on the assignment. Well that and they used some of the materials they were using for their work to also begin looking for Sunghoon. Of course the two thought about the fact that Sunghoon could be dead but they weren't going to give up until they knew for sure he was dead. As the two settled at their desk and began looking through the papers.

 "Ok so here is what Mr. Yang wants us to get done today" Jake said as he showed Jangmi the checklist

 "Hm thats not too bad, after we are done doing this we can work on our own mission" Jangmi said

 "Right, but let's get started the faster we finish this, the more time we get" Jake said

 So the two worked for hours until it was time for a lunch break.

 "Ugh finally I get to stand up and stretch, my foot fell asleep and my butt is numb" Jangmi groaned

 "Samee" Jakw sighed in relief as he cracked his back

 "Guess whattt" Jangmi said

 "Huh" Jake said

 "I made us lunchhhh" Jangmi said as pulled out two lunch boxes

 "Oh really!" Jake smiled as he looked at the two boxes

 "Yes but I request that we eat at the park" Jangmi said

 "Okkk" Jake beamed as he dragged Jangmi out of the office

 "Hey slow down!" Jangmi yelled as she was still being dragged

 When the two got outside of the office building they began walking in the direction of the park they had gone to the day before. As Jangmi and Jake were laughing about random things. A familiar figure caught Jangmi's eyes. She saw the figure exit Hotel Solaria that was just down the street from the workplace. She was guessing Jake also saw it cause he froze as well

 "Is that who I think it is?" Jake asked

 "Taeha?" Jangmi said.

Taeha's POV:

She had finally checked into her suite and now she was going to go shopping.

 "I cannot wait to go buy some new clothes!" Taeha said excitedly as she walked out of the hotel she had just checked in. Suddenly she heard two familiar laughs she hadn't heard in over 5 years. She looked up to see where the laughs were coming from and immediately recongnized the two faces.

 "Jangmi"

 "Jake" She thought as she looked at the two laughing with each other

 "Omg are they dating? They're so cutee" Taeha mentally screamed

 Apparently the two also noticed Taeha too. She heard Jake mumbling some words then she heard Jangmi say her name. 

"Jangmi?"

 "Jake?" Taeha said looking at them.
