Chapter 19

Not long after there was a knock at their door. Jangmi opened it. 

"Did you need something?" Jangmi asked slightly grumpily

 "Sorry was I disturbing something important?" Jay asked smirking

 "Yes in fact you came right before the good part" Jangmi grumbled

 "Come in" Jake said shoving Jangmi to the said

 "Hey!" Jangmi yelled as she shoved back

 The two had a shove fight while Jay groaned. 

"Ya know, the sooner I tell you, the sooner you can get back to the movie" Jay said rolling his eyes

 The two settled down, before sitting on the couch. Jay went ahead and spilled everything. 

"And so Jungwon then just got in his car and drove off leaving Taeha laying there" Jay said as he finished off his story

 "Your not... for real right?" Jangmi asked

 "You're sure it was Taeha?" Jake said

 "Mhm she even knew my name" Jay said

 "But why would she do that to Jungwon?" Jake asked

 "I don know but I heard something about firing her when he took over the company?" Jay said

 "He's gonna take over the company and fire Taeha? But Taeha doesn't work under his dad's company" Jake said

 "I don't know man but that's all I heard, now I gotta go home" Jay said

 "Wait so we're just gonna ignore the fact that you saw Taeha holding a knife to Jungwon's neck?" Jangmi said in disbelief

 "Talk to Jungwon about it tomorrow, then you guys can decide what to do from there, this doesn't involve me I just wanted to tell you guys" Jay said

 They all said their goodbyes before Jay left. After Jay left Jangmi remained silent.

 "I-I can't believe Taeha would do that" Jangmi said

 "I can't either" Jake said

 "She was my best friend and not once did she show any signs of wanting to harm Jungwon" Jangmi said

 Jake sighed as he layed down on the couch.

 "Wait- is this what Jungwon meant when he told us not everyone is who they seem to be?" Jangmi said

 Jake's eyes widened. 

"But how would he know about Taeha, I mean I haven't kept in touch with her for years I doubt he'd keep in touch especially since he was so quiet and only talked to Sunghoon" Jangmi said

 "But what if this went back way before?" Jake said

 "What do you mean?" Jangmi asked

 "Like maybe Taeha and Jungwon had something do with each other and we didn't know" Jake said

 "Jake you're a genius! It makes a little sense too but I think we should wait and ask Jungwon tomorrow about it" Jangmi said

 "Agreed, let's go to bed for now it's almost 2 am and we have work tomorrow" Jake said

 "Mhm goodnight" Jangmi said as she layed on of the couches and Jake on the other

Sunghoon's POV: 

Sunghoon sat in the darkness trying to recall all the happy times he had spent with his friends but they were all a blurry mess. Suddenly the door burst open and he saw a silhouette of a person but this time it wasn't man who came down, it was someone else. 

"Sunghoonieeee long time no see" the voice said as it started out high-pitched and gradually got deeper
