Sorry [Park Sunghoon] An Enhypen ff

Chapter 6

She looked in horror at what was sitting in front of her eyes. It was the necklace that Sunghoon had given her when they first met, as like a promise necklace. But this time it had a drop of blood on the gem. Jangmi hadn't seen this thing in years, she remembered she had lost it

"H-how'd they get this" Jangmi said holding the necklace in her hands

 But then she saw what was under it. It was a picture of Sunghoon badly beaten and bruised on what looked like to be a filthy basement floor

 "S-Sunghoon" Jangmi said tears filling up her eyes as she picked up the picture

 Jangmi couldn't believe it, who would do such a thing and why?

 Upon looking closer at Sunghoon, she noticed he had looked skinnier and weaker than than the last time she'd seen him. There was a cut on the side of he cheek and one on the bridge of his nose. Don't forget the bruises all over his body too. Looking at it in horror 

 Jangmi picked up her phone to dial Jake.

Jake's POV: 

Jake pulled into his driveway and turned off his car. He was still traumatized and slightly angry at his company for making him do this. Why would they make him do this, knowing Sunghoon was a friend of his and Jangmi's too. As he walked up to his front door, he noticed the tiny box sitting on his doorstep. He bent down and inspected it, with his phone flashlight. There wasn't a specific mailing address, not even his address was on there.

 "What the" Jake said

 He had ordered many Amazon packages in his life, this was not one of them

 He looked around to see if there were any teenagers trying to prank him and this was a stink bomb. No one, it was dead silent too besides the sound of the wind. Unlocking his door quickly and locking it behind him, he walked into his house and set the package down on his coffee table. He walked to the kitchen and grabbed a box cutter, sitting down on his couch as he opened it. Before he opened it though, he looked around the outside of the box to make sure there was no mailing address. 

Nothing. 

He opened the box and immediately gasped, everything stopped for a moment

Looking at the tiny item that was sitting in the box with a note beneath it and something even more brutal beneath the note

 The note said:

Sorry that I left

Sorry that I wasn't there for you

Sorry that you expected me to come back

Sorry you had to wait

𝑆𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢- P.S.

Jake covered his mouth, eyes going wide

 "P.S." Jake muttered

 "Park Sunghoon" He said the first name that came to his mouth

 He read the last line over and over again

 "Did he leave on purpose?" Jake said

 Then he looked at the item, it was in a tiny red velvet box

 He opened it to find the promise ring, he had given Sunghoon freshmen year of high school. He looked at his hand, it was still on there it always was

 But this one said P.S. It was Sunghoon's initials the same ones that signed the letter

 Except this time there was a drop of blood right on the S. He looked at the ring, the one that had been on his friend's finger the last time he ever saw him
