Chapter 22

 Sunghoon's POV: 

The door bust open letting in a bright stream of light. Sunghoon quickly covered his eyes as the beam of light flooded into the room. The huge figure stomped over to where Sunghoon was and roughly put a blindfold over his eyes. 

"Hey what are you doing?" Sunghoon said hoarsly

 "Shut and let's go" the voice said

 Sunghoon was roughly dragged out of the room he had been in for who knows how long. As soon as he was dragged out of the room he could feel the difference. The air was no longer musty and it smelt better than in the room. Suddenly he was pushed outside where he could feel the breeze against the thin t-shirt he had been wearing and the fresh air. But feeling quickly faded as he was shoved into a car. 

"Now stay here and don't move or make a sound" the voice said

 Sunghoon just sat there in silence and still as a statue afraid of what was going happen if he didn't follow the orders.

Jangmi's POV:

The car pulled into the now deserted parking lot of the once lively school buzzing with students. It looked like no one had stepped foot on the property for years. The stairs that once lead to the main entrance of the school was crumbling away. There were unkept vines growing up the side of the school.

 "Is this what our school really looks like now" Jake said looking at the abandoned building

 "Let's go guys, we don't have time to waste" Taeha said as she wanted to get Sunghoon into the room he was in as soon as possible

 "Yeah she's right guys it'll get late soon" Jangmi said opening the car door

 The group that was split into two cars met up in front of the school. 

"Show us the way to the storage room Heeseung" Ni-ki said as he looked at the building

 "Right let's go" Heeseung said still in disbelief at the state the school had been in

 He had no idea how the school had been left in a state like this, the high school they had all went to was the best school in their town. You had to either have been really smart or wealthy to get in. How could someone just abandon it like this. The group walked into the building. 

"Geez it's so musty" Sunoo complained

 Jay started coughing.

 "It smells like rotting bread" Jungwon said fanning the air

 "Let's just go guys" Heeseung said

 Heeseung lead the group to the back end of the school careful not to step on anything. Everyone had their flashlights out since there were no lights and the sun was setting. Once Heeseung had gotten to the door he reached for the knob. 

"It's jammed" Heeseung said violently jiggling the door knob

 "Here lemme try" Jungwon said as he kicked the door open

 The door burst open letting out an even mustier smell. The group coughed. 

"Jesus how did Sunghoon just sit in here" Jake coughed

 "We've got no time to waste lets go and see if he's down there, but we need to be quiet" Jangmi said

 The group quietly walked down the crumbling stone stairs. Taeha trailed behind them all smirking. Jangmi was the first one to reach the cellar. 

"Sunghoon?" she called out shining her phone flashlight around the place

 "Where is he?" Jake asked also looking around

 Jungwon was frozen in place. As soon as he reached the last step everything stopped and the room began to shrink in on him. His breathing began to increase rapidly.

Flashback High school: 

Jungwon was walking to the entrance of the school waiting to be picked up. 

"Hey!" he heard a voice behind him call out

 Jungwon looked back. He saw Taeha and two others girls standing next to her.

 "Oh h-hey" Jungwon said

 Taeha glared at him up and down. Taeha snapped her fingers and the two girls walked over to Jungwon.

 "D-do you need something?" Jungwon asked nervously

 He looked around, the hallways were empty there was no one to help him. The girls violently grabbed Jungwon.

 "Hey! Let me go what do you want?" Jungwon said

 He tried fighting back but he was up against three people. The girls dragged Jungwon to the storage room. On the way there, Jungwon tried to call out for help but since he had stayed late after school, all of the teachers had gone home and so had the students, there was no one to help him. When they had getten to the basement door, they roughly shoved him down the stairs. He rolled down the stairs and hit his head against the concrete floor. "Taeha stomped down the stairs. She grabbed onto his school uniform collar.

 "How dare you take what was ours huh?" Taeha scowled

 "Huh?" Jungwon asked confusedly and still in pain

 "The company, that was suppose to go to MY dad but then grandpa gave it to yours last minute because of that affair" Taeha

 "You know this would've never happened if you're dad didn't decide to snitch, we would have gotten the company and you guys would've still been on the streets" Taeha glared angrily at Jungwon

 Jungwon just looked at her in disbelief. 

"Maybe if you're dad hadn't gone out and had an affair with his assistant, you guys would have the company there's no one to blame but him" Jungwon smirked

 "You know it's a disgrace being you're cousin or even being connected to you anyway, I'm glad my dad changed his name or else I would still be a Yang" Taeha said

 That was when it started. Out of nowhere Taeha dumped a cartoon of old milk she had found on one of the shelves on Jungwon. Jungwon glared at her as spoiled milk ran down his head. 

"Keep looking at me like that and you'll regret it" Taeha said angrily

 Suddenly Taeha picked up a metal bat from the ground and hit Jungwon right in the stomach. Jungwon groaned and fell to the ground. Taeha just smirked. 

"Heh this is fun" she said

 She then kicked Jungwon over and over in various places. Jungwon tried calling out for help but no one was there. The two girls that had dragged him there had left already leaving Taeha to do whatever she wanted. After 20 minutes of non-stop beating although it felt like hours, Taeha finally stopped. 

"My dad is calling me, you're lucky this time that the fun had to be cut short" Taeha said stomping out of the storage room leaving a badly beaten Jungwon laying on the ground coughing up blood

 But before exiting she stopped and turned around "Remember keep your mouth shut, don't be like you're dad or I will ruin you're whole family" she said glaring at the boy in critical condition

 Jungwon lay there in unbearable pain, a single tear running down his cheek. He couldn't move a single thing in his body. But he knew he had to move soon or he would get locked in the school. Suddenly he heard the door creak open.

 "Please don't tell me she came back" Jungwon thought to himself as he slowly lost consciousness and everything went black
