Chapter 10

Sunghoon's POV:

 My eyes adjusted to the blinding light as I could see a tall figure stomping. I tried to speak but my throat felt tight and dry.

 "We heard that one of your friends couldn't keep their mouth shut and told the police" the person said

 I looked at him in confusion

 "What friends?" I thought to myself

 "So now they're gonna see you suffer" the voice laughed

 "Suffer?" my mind thought

 But it slowly hit me as I saw him set up a camera and pull out weapons. I slowly backed up into the corner, fear building up inside of me. I frantically shook my head.

 "No!" I managed to scream

 It was more like an ear piercing squeak.

TW: Violence

But he didn't listen

 "This is what your friends get for not keeping their mouth shut! They'll see you suffer and wish they never opened their mouth"

 My eyes widened in fear as I saw him pick up a rusty bat sitting on the floor of the basement.

 In that moment I wanted to run.

 I want to scream for help. 

I wanted someone to come right then and there to save me. 

But no. I was stuck here, chained to a wall and helpless. Then I felt the first swing. A painful sting landed on my back knocking me onto the ground.

 I groaned in pain. 

"Oh you think that's it? Think again just like how your friends should've when they opened their mouths" He said

 I couldn't say anything just groan lay there in agonizing pain. 

Then I felt another hit, and again, and again.

 Until everything went black.

Jangmi's POV: 

"I had an amazing time today at the park" Jangmi said as her and Jake were walking back to their workplace

 "Me too, your food was amazing!" Jake smiled

 "I know right? I think you should come over tonight and watch a movie with me" Jangmi

 "And what movie?" Jake asked

 "This new horror movie I rented last night!" Jangmi said squealing

 "Jangmi you know I don't like horror movies" Jake groaned

 "Your no fun" Jangmi pouted

 "So be it" Jake said as he and Jangmi walked back into their office

 "Please please pleaseee" Jangmi begged

 "Fine but only if you buy the snacks" Jake said

 "But what-"

 "Fine I guess I won't go then-"

 "Fine I'll do it" Jangmi gave in

 "Alright it's a date" Jake said

 Jangmi just grumbled knowing she was going to have to buy the snacks.

 "Ok so looks like we have everything done on Mr. Yang's checklist" Jake said

 "Finally, now lets begin working on finding Sunghoon" Jangmi said

 "So I think the first thing we should work on are the initials listed on the paper' Jake said pulling out the note he had received

 "P.J. AND K.T." Jake said to himself

 "Who could it be" Jangmi groaned also staring blankly at the two initials

 As the two were deep in thought as to who the initials belonged too. There was a loud knock on the door. 

"Oh my god-" Jake said slightly jumping

 Jangmi laughed slightly

 "Come in!" she called out

 The door opened to reveal a boy, smiling widely, a deep dimple appearing. He looked tiny standing there under the big door. 

"Oh?" Jangmi said looking at him in confusion

 "Hi I'm Yang Jungwon!" Jungwon said as he walked into the office

 "Oh so you're Mr. Yang's son?" Jake asked

 "Yep that's me" Jungwon said as he sat on the couch in the office

 "So uhm what are you doing here?" Jangmi asked

 Suddenly Jungwon's smile faded and he walked over to Jake and Jangmi, leaning close into them. 

"Listen, I can't tell you much but there's a reason my dad is making you do this" he whispered in a low voice

 "Huh?" the two said in confusion

 "And remember some people aren't who they seem to be" Jungwon whispered before walking out in a hurry

 "Wait! Jungwon come back!" Jangmi got out of her chair as she ran out of her office after Jungwon

 But that boy was speedy and had already disappeared some where.

 "Ugh gosh darn it! He has the audacity to tell us that but won't even stick around" Jangmi stomped back into the office

 Jake looked up at her as he carefully thought about the words Jungwon had said

 "People aren't who they seem to be?" Jake thought about those words over and over again

 "Jake!" Jangmi yelled as she slapped Jake back to reality

 "Ow!" Jake yelled as he rubbed his arm

 "Help me with figuring out these initials, you're the smarter one here" Jangmi said

 "Yeah sorry, I was just thinking about what Jungwon said" Jake mumbled

 "Forget about him, he's probably just making up nonsense anyways" Jangmi said

 "Yeah probably, I'm just overthinking as always" Jake sighed

 Suddenly both of their phones got a text from an unknown number. 

"Huh what is this?" Jangmi said as she opened her phone

 It was a video.

 "Jake did you get the video too?" Jangmi said

 Jake nodded looking at her.

Taeha's POV:

"Oh my godd, I need this shirt!" Taeha said as she admired herself in the fitting room

 After looking at herself some more, she quickly payed for her shirt and carried out her other bags she had accumulated from shopping. She began walking to her hotel room. Finally after what seemed like a long hard journey she finally made it to her hotel room. She collapsed on her bed. Then her phone vibrated startling her.

 "Who is this?" Taeha said looking at the unknown number

 Then she saw the video attached to it. 

She dropped her phone in horror.

Jay's POV: 

"Here are the reports you asked for Mr. Park" an employee said handing a stack of papers to Jay

"Thanks Mrs. Shin" Jay said he took the papers

 As Mrs. Shin walked out of the room, Jay's phone went off.

 "Who's this from?" Jay asked as he looked at the unknown number

 He looked at what he had been sent, it was a video and below was a message.

"You couldn't keep your mouth shut could you?"

We finally got a Sunghoon POV!
