Chapter 14

"Come let's go we have to get back to work!" Jangmi said as she and Jake packed up their stuff and headed out the door

 "It's so good to see Jay and Taeha again" Jake smiled

 "Agreed" Jangmi said cheerfully

 When they entered Jangmi's office they saw an unexpected guest. Jungwon was digging through their papers.

 "That brat" Jake muttered under his breath as he saw Jungwon cheerfully humming while examining the papers

 "Hey! Stop that!" Jangmi yelled as she lunged at Jungwon

 "Oh you're finally here!" Jungwon exclaimed

 "Yeah and what were you doing looking through our papers?" Jake said angrily

 "Well I heard that my dad is making you guys report on Sunghoon's missing case and you were looking for Sunghoon too" Jungwon said

 "Yeah and?" Jangmi asked

 "I want to help" Jungwon said

 "Why? you don't even know Sunghoon" Jake said still pressed that Jungwon was snooping through their papers

 "That's where you're wrong" Jungwon smirked

 "What do you mean?" Jake asked

 "Sunghoon never told you guys about me did he?"

 The two shook their heads confused. 

"I was his science partner, do you guys really not remember me?" Jungwon asked

 "No not really" Jake said

 "Wait wait I do! Sunghoon told me once that you were his science partner and you SO annoying" Jangmi said

 "Hey!" Jungwon pouted

 "You still have the same baby face! Of course I know you" Jangmi laughed

 "I do NOT have a baby face" Jungwon said as he glared at Jangmi

 Jungwon just looked more like a baby causing Jangmi to laugh even more.

 "So can I help you guys pleaseeee" Jungwon asked

 "Sure I guess, Jangmi seems to know you pretty well" Jake said

 "Yayayaya" Jungwon said

 "If you want to help us meet at my house today at 4, here's the address" Jake said as he handed a sheet of paper with his address amd his number

 "Alright I'll be on my way now!" Jungwon said happily as he exited the office

 It wasn't after a but that Jake realized what he did. 

"Wait Jangmi" he said seriously

 "Yeah?" Jangmi asked

 "We weren't suppose to tell anyone except for Jay and Taeha about this" he said

 "Yeah? And what about it" Jangmi said

 "We just told Jungwon and now he's helping us" Jake said

 "Shit!" Jangmi cursed

 "Do you think the person who is doing this to us, found out?" Jake asked

 "I don't know but we'll have to wait and see" Jangmi said worriedly

TIME SKIP: 4:00 PM

Jake's House:

 Jake and Jangmi were sitting on the couch waiting for everyone to arrive. Suddenly there were knocks at the door followed by a grunt. 

"They must be here" Jangmi said as she got up and opened the door

 When she opened the door she saw Taeha yelling at Jay about accidentally stepping on her shoe. 

"Uh hey guys" Jangmi said upon opening the door to the scene in front of her

 "Hey! Jay here just stepped on my new shoes I bought today" Taeha muttered

 "HeY! jAy HeRe JuSt StEpPeD oN mY nEw ShOeS i BoUgHt ToDaY" Jay mocked earning an elbow from Taeha

 Jay groaned in pain as he rubbed his side. 

"Come inside" Jangmi said choosing to ignore what just happened

 Jay nad Taeha stepped inside.

 "Hey guys come in!" Jake said nervously

 "Wassup" Jay said as he set his stuff down

 "Hey!" Taeha said also setting her stuff down

 "So uhm before you guys get mad at me, there is someone who will also be helping us" Jake said

 "You mean you told someone else? You know what will happen if-"

 "I know I know but he said he knew Sunghoon" Jake said

 "Well who is he?" Taeha asked

 "Yang Jungwon" Jay said

 "Yang Jungwon? You mean that loser who had no friends in high school?" Taeha scoffed

 "I was gonna say Sunghoon's science partner but sure" Jake sighed

 "Why'd you tell him?" Jay said

 "Well because he said he wanted to help and he knew Sunghoon" Jake said

 "Uhm that was it? Because he knew Sunghoon?" Jay asked

 "Well because we also caught him snooping through our papers and there was nothing we could really hide" Jake said

 "That brat" Taeha groaned

 "Well? Where is he?" Jay asked

 "He hasn't arrived yet, we'll start once he gets here" Jangmi said

 "One sec I'll be back, where's your bathroom?" Taeha asked

 "Down the hall second door to the left" Jake said

 "Alright thanks" Taeha said.

Unknowns POV: 

"Alright I'm at his house" The voice whispered quietly to not be heard

 "They're finally gonna pay for what they did to me".

"I'll call you back once I'm done" the person hung up and let out a chuckle

 "You all will regret this" the voice said letting out a chuckle.
