The ambulance took Phil away, leaving me and Dan in a silence.

"So..." he awkwardly says

"Wanna go to Starbucks?"

I smile slightly and nod

"Wanna walk there?"

I nod

"Okay, lemme just get dressed first"

"Me too" I say while I look down at my pajamas

We laugh

He walks to his room to start to get dressed,

I do the same

I look through my dresser trying to figure out what to wear.

"No...no...no" I repeatedly say to myself as I look for a shirt to wear

"Ah ha"

"I found one"

I got my Nirvana muscle T-shirt and some black, ripped skinny jeans with my black converse.

I did my hair and put on the little makeup I do, a little foundation and mascara.

"Done" I quietly say to myself

I make my way out of my bedroom and head to the lounge. I got my phone out and went on twitter.
About to go to Starbucks #commonwhitegirl xD

I clicked send

I then went to YouTube to check out one of my favorite youtubers, SkyDoesMinecraft.

I clicked on it

"ARE YOU ALMOST READY DAN!" I yell while I was watching YouTube still

"ALMOST! TEN MORE MINUTES!"

"K!"

Dan came to the living room dressed.

"Y'ready?" I ask

He nods

"After you" he says while holding the door open for me

"Why thank you" I say with a smile and a small courtesy

Dan locks the door behind me and we make our way to the elevator. We were the only ones in the elevator

"Hey...Riley?"

"Yes Dan?"

"If some fangirls come to me, please don't say that you're my daughter..."

"But why?" I say while getting slightly pissed off

"Because...you're special to me. I don't want anyone to judge you...anyone. I wanna keep you safe. I don't want anyone to know that you're my daughter cause I know that a lot of people will hate on you. You're special to me...and I don't want you to be hurt, mentally and physically..."

We both hug

"Thank you" I say quietly while we're still hugging

"Thank you for what?" he asks

I purposely ignore him

All I do is look up at him and smile
"Thank you"

"For what though?" he asks again

"For that"

"I've been waiting for that answer for so long...and now I have it"  I whisper to myself
