6. Nauru was once the wealthiest country in the world.
7. Nauru has never won an Olympic medal, despite participating in the Summer Olympic Games since 1996.
8. Nauru is listed among the sixteen countries with no armed forces.
9. Nauru has no official capital, but government offices are located in the district of Yaren.
10. It is the smallest country in the world outside Europe.
