A/N- Before I start, I just want to say that I mean no offence to anyone from the US. These are just some things that I found out about the USA and wanted to share them.

1. Oregon is the fastest-speaking state in the U.S. Mississippi is the slowest.

2. The word 'Pennsylvania' is misspelled on the Liberty Bell.

3. There's enough water in Lake Superior to cover all of North and South America in one foot of liquid.

4. There's a town in Washington with treetop bridges made specifically to help squirrels cross the street!

5. You can get a unicorn hunting licence from Michigan's Lake Superior State University.

6. There's a Darth Vader "gargoyle" on the National Cathedral in D.C.

7. The Empire State building has its own zip code.

8. There are more than 70 streets in Atlanta with some variation of the name 'Peachtree'.

9. At 46 letters, Massachusett's Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (try saying that) has the longest place name in the U.S., even though the name is based on a joke.

10. In 1893, an amendment was proposed to rename the country to the "United States of Earth"
