WILL
Mike and I had been waiting for nearly 2 hours. Dustin was coming home today and it was challenging to hear him ask if anyone was on their walkie-talkies and get upset when none of us answered.

At around 11 am, Max contacted us through the phone just in case Dustin mistakenly heard something.

"Dustin's almost home..." Max spoke before the line went silent. Mike and I rushed over to Dustin's house, hiding in the bushes.

Mrs Henderson knew what we were up to and when Dustin was out of sight, she kept the front door open, allowing Max, Lucas, Mike and I to enter and hide, getting our stuff ready. We gave the 'all clear' to Mrs Henderson.

"Dusty! I need to talk to you..." Mrs Henderson called out, smiling.

As Dustin walked out from his room, he looked sad, mostly upset that none of us tried to contact him. We stood in the living room, holding a banner and a few party poppers to surprise him.

Within minutes, sounds of party poppers and everyone shouting surprised Dustin, almost scaring him to death.

"You two still dating?" Dustin asked as he looked at Mike and me. I nodded, resulting in Dustin almost mocking us as Lucas did.

5 hours passed and we had all followed Dustin up a massive hill, each of us carrying something extremely heavy. We assembled Cerebro.

"Pretty impressive, right?" Dustin spoke as we had sat down, taking a break.

"Yeah..." Max said, sighing.

"Now, you ready to meet my love?" Dustin asked, smiling.

"Okay, sure. Yeah." I spoke, slightly smiling, curious as to how this interaction would go.

We watched as Dustin turned it on. He seemed so happy and excited to introduce us to his girlfriend.

"Suzie, this is Dustin. Do you copy? Over." Dustin spoke into the walkie-talkie, expecting a response.

"One sec. She's probably... She's still there. Suzie... this is Dustin. Do you copy? Over." Dustin tried again, hoping to get a response.

"I'm sure she's there. It's just-" Dustin tried to give another excuse, but Mike cut him off.

"-Yeah..." Mike said, trying not to laugh.

"You know, maybe she's, like, busy or-" Dustin said, changing buttons on Cerebro.

"-Yeah..." Lucas said, slightly smiling.

"It's around dinnertime..." Dustin spoke to us.

"Yep." Max stood up, along with the rest of us.

"Suzie, do you copy? This is Dustin. Over." We heard Dustin say as we all walked back down the hill, my hands intertwined with Mike's.

DUSTIN
While Max, Lucas, Mike and Will left me alone, I kept trying to reach Suzie, somehow finally getting a connection.

"Shit. Shit. Suzie? Suzie, is that you?" I asked as I spoke loud and clearly into the walkie-talkie. I could barely make out the voice, but it definitely wasn't Suzie. Turning up the volume, I quickly realised that the person talking wasn't American, so I wrote down whatever was being said.

"Неделя длинная. The week is long." The man spoke, beginning.

"Серебряная кошка кормит, когда синий встречается с желтым на западе. The silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west." The man spoke slowly.

"Поездка в Китай звучит неплохо, если к нему относиться внимательно. A trip to China sounds nice if you tread carefully." The man continued as I wrote down what I thought was being said. The man stopped, cutting off the connection.

Turning off Cerebro, I quickly grabbed my belongings and ran off, leaving Cerebro out on the hill. I made my way to the mall, quickly rushing inside when I got there. I found Scoops Ahoy, walking in seeing a girl serving customers.

"Hi," I spoke.

"Hi." She replied, expecting me to order some Ice-cream.

"I'm Dustin," I spoke, smiling.

"I'm Robin." She hesitated, confused.

"Pleasure to meet you. Uh, is- is he here?" I said, looking around.

"Is who here?" She asked, looking at me weirdly.

"Henderson. Henderson! He's back! He's back!" Steve said as he walked over to me, laughing and smiling.

"I'm back! You got the job!" I said, laughing.

"I got the job!" Steve replied, excited.

We sat down, both of us sharing some Ice-cream. I began talking.

"So, where are the other knuckleheads?" Steve asked, confused.

"They ditched me." I said, taking another bite. "My first day back. Can you believe that shit?

"Whoa. Seriously? I swear to God. Mm." Steve said, upset.

"They're gonna regret it, though, big time, when they don't get to share in my glory." I said, looking around.

"Glory? What glory?" Steve asked, now confused.

"I-uh..." I looked around the shop, hoping to be quiet. "I intercepted a secret Russian communication." I said, whispering.

"What?" Steve asked, confused.

"Uh... " I inhaled deeply. "I intercepted a secret Russian communication." I once again whispered.

"Just speak louder." Steve said, now agitated.

"I intercepted a secret Russian communication" I said, loud enough for only Steve and I to hear.

"Yeah, okay, that's what I thought you said. What- What does that mean?" Steve asked, leaning in closer.

"It means, Steve, we could be heroes. True American heroes." I said, smiling.

"Huh." Steve said, leaning back into the chair.

"Mm-hmm?" I asked, confused as to what Steve was thinking about.

"American heroes." Steve repeated what I had said.

"Just think, you could have all the ladies you want and more." I said, bringing him closer.

"What's the catch?" He asked, giving me a suspicious look.

"No catch, I just need your help." I spoke, taking a deep breath in and out.

"With what?" Steve asked.

"Translation." I said as I got out a Russian to English dictionary.

WILL
Mike and I arrived back to his place, his mom in the kitchen cooking something.

"Do you think we were a little too harsh on Dustin?" I asked as I laid on the bed, Mike wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Nah. Dustin's a big boy..." Mike said as he kissed my neck, allowing me to relax as I smiled.

"I love you Mike..." I spoke, now kissing him.

"I love you more Will..." Mike replied, enjoying his time with me.
