XVI: ROYALTY (3)

"Hey guys what's going on here?" Mari asked as she stared at the scene

Chloe's POV

We hadn't heard Mari enter the room.

"Oh hey Maribug!" I said.

"What are Gami, Luka and Jon doing here?" Mari asked. I looked at the three trying to find a way to explain this, well so much for surprising Mari tomorrow.
"They-" I began but then Kagami spoke.
"We were invited by the Empress Mari-hime. When your mother heard from Chloe that Luka and I were close to you she invited us. It was supposed to be a surprise. Your mother wanted your 18th to be memorable." Gami said. That was true huh looks like that surprised failed.
"That's true Melody. Should we be bowing in your presence now?" Luka joked. I snorted at that, Maribug may be Princess now but she still wasn't used to her being recognized as that.

"NO! You guys are Family to me. Besides I've got enough people bowing to me the past few days that'll last a lifetime. Jon what are you doing here?" Maribug said then looking to Jon who was still hugging Damian.
"He heard aswell and is Bourgeois' date to your homecoming tomorrow." Damian explained. I felt my cheeks blush, I know Jon and I are dating but still I can't help the blush!
"And the hugging part?" Mari questioned.
Gami, Luka and I couldn't help but try, keyword Try to hide our laughs.
"I-uh, You see- uh Mari, I missed Damian so much and was just messing with him you know how friends are." Jon said smiling at Mari. He then lets go of Damian, wish I got a video of what just happened, don't get me wrong, I love Jon but I still need blackmail material for either him or Damian.

"So bug done with Royal duties today?" I asked with a slight posh accent, walking towards her.
"Yep I'm so done with royal duties for now. Wish we had known maybe a week before though. The maids were really nice but they all keep asking my opinion on things. Wish you were there to help me mama Chlo!" Mari said hugging me faking exhaustion.
"Awe my baby bug's tired. Movies and snack before your big day? how's that sound?" I asked.
"Sounds great!" She said dragging me to the kitchen.

Everyone in the room then went to either get pillows and blankets, or picked the movies.

Damian's POV ---evening---

That morning was a close one. Good thing Angel didn't hear anything about Jon begging to be best man.
My brothers would certainly be arguing with Jon tomorrow on why he got to be best man. Oh well. Angel was soound asleep in my arms and I couldn't help but wonder what her reaction to tomorrow would be.

With that I drifted off to sleep, ready for tomorrow.

3rd POV

They all woke up early the next morning, except Marinette who was still sound asleep.
Chloe got the Idea of making Mari breakfast. Gami, Luka and Jon agreed leaving Damian to stare at his sleeping beauty.

When they finished preparing they whispered to Damian to wake Marinette up.

Damian looked at hem questioningly, why?
Chloe and Jon were holding waterguns, where they got those from let's say it was Magic. Kagami and Luka were holding Marinette's breakfast and balloons, again where those came from was Magic!

Damian still looked at them but still woke his angel up.

"Angel wake up..." He softly whispered.
"Five more minutes." Mari mumbled snuggling closer to Damian.
"C'mon Angel, wake up please." Damian said kissing Marinette's forehead lovingly.
Marinette opened her eyes and looked up at Damian.
"Why must you wake me up demon?" She asked.
"Happy Birthday sleepy head." Damian said.

Que Chloe and Jon screaming,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARI!!!!!!!!" then firing the waterguns with Marinette squealing.
Marinette looked at the four eyes wide.
"Happy birthday Mari-hime/Melody." Kagami and Luka said at the same time.
"Chlo were the waterguns neccesary?" she asked.
"Maybe..." Chloe replied.
