No One's POV

Amy and Andrea walk up to the group, both holding a bunch of fish on a chain.

"Oh, baby. Will you look at that? Hey, check it out." Morales says, letting out a laugh.

"Ladies..." Morales trails off as Lori lets out a clap.

Octavia was with Carl, who looked at the fish in awe.

"Because of you, my children will eat tonight." Morales says.

"That's nothing compared to what Octavia and Daryl bring back." Amy says.

"That's only on a good day. Still, thank you. We all get to eat tonight." Octavia says.

"Thank Dale. It's his canoe and gear." Andrea says.

"Mom, O, look. Look at all the fish." Carl says.

"Thank you." Lori says, getting away from the fish that almost touched her.

"Whoa." Carl says, poking at them.

"Yeah, whoa. Where did you two learn to do that?" Lori asks the blonde sisters.

"Our dad." Amy says.

"Can you teach me how to do that?" Carl asks.

"Sure. I'll teach you all about nail knots and stuff. If that's ok." Amy says, the last part to Lori.

"You won't catch me arguing." Lori says.

"Hey, Dale. When's the last time you oiled those line reels? They are a disgrace." Andrea says.

"I uh-- I don't wanna alarm anyone, but we might have a bit of a problem." Dale says.

Dale turns to Shane and Octavia before pointing up the hill, making everyone look to see Jim digging.

////

Everyone made their way up the hill to Jimmy. Shane and Octavia stood forward, already talked about their plan if it goes south.

"Hey, Jim." Shane says.

Nothing.

"Jim, why don't you hold up, alright? Just give me a second here, please." Shane says.

"What do you want?" Jim asks.

"We're all just a little concerned, that's all, Dale says you've been up here for hours." Octavia says.

"So?" Jim asks.

"So why are you digging? Are you heading to China, Jim?" Shane asks.

"What does it matter? I'm not hurting anyone." Jim says.

"Yeah, except maybe yourself. It's 100 degrees outside. You can't keep this up." Dale says.

"Sure I can. Watch me." Jim says.

"Jim, they're not gonna say it so I will. You're scaring people." Lori says.

"More than people. You're scaring my little brother and Sophia." Octavia says.

"They got nothing to be scared of." Jim says.

He had faced them, saying this.

"I mean, what the hell, people? I'm out here by myself. Why don't y'all just go and leave me the hell alone?" Jim asks.

"We think that you need to take a break, okay? Why don't you go and get yourself in the shade? Some food maybe. I'll tell you what--maybe in a little bit I'll come out here. I'll help you myself. Jim, just tell us what it's about. Why don't you just go ahead and give me the shovel?" Shane asks.
