First of all welcome to my story ; ) I am delighted to see you here. This is a fredweasleyXreader story, so you are the main character!

But I would like to address a few things before the actual story starts
1: Language
My first language is German and not English! If my vocabulary sounds monotonous sometimes that could be the reason why! I will probably make a few mistakes along the way with spelling or somethung else. Please keep that in mind!
For the language in the story: Of course you would speak French with your family Fleur (explained in background) but my French isn't the best and I feel like it is better if I just keep it in Englisch! So if you talk to your brother for example just imagina that you are speaking French! I didn't add a note if they actually speak French but I can add that you want to
2. Information/ Background
In this story you are 16! You live in France with your parents and one of your brother. Your mum is Irish and that is the reason for good English because you basically grew up bilingual, your dad grew up in France. Your brother Antoine will visit Hogwarts with you and he is already 17. You also have another brother called Pierre, but he already graduated and works for Gringotts. Your bestfriend is Fleur Delacour, but she is a year older than you. Other background information/ relationships will be introduced throughout the story.
I am using the movies as basis! I will include a few facts from the books as well e.g. that boys attend Beauxbatons too but my main source are the movies! This has 2 main reasons: Maybe not everyone has read the books, it is easier follow the timeline and look up special scenes and there is more space for imagination since the books are more complex. So I might make up things that are stated in the books differently e.g. where the Beaubaxtons students stay. I will also probably make up things that weren't stated in the books or other sources at all
