"I can't believe it." Fitz couldn't stop smiling.
"What?" Keefe asked, cradling Fitz.
They were sitting on a couch in Keefe's bedroom. They had figured that would be the easiest place to sit undisturbed.
Fitz looked up at Keefe, his head in Keefe's lap. "That I could be lucky enough to have you."
"Wow!" Keefe said.
Fitz was immediately a little worried.
Keefe glanced down at him, and upon seeing his expression, laughed. "I mean - who knew that the great Wonderboy Vacker was so sappy?"
Fitz lightly swatted Keefe on the arm. "Well, I guess it just took the right person to bring it out in me."
"Awww," Keefe cooed, a little mockingly. "It's because he cares about me!"
"For what it's worth," Fitz said, ignoring Keefe's teasing, "I do care about you, as I've already made abundantly clear."
Keefe went serious. "I know. Be careful with me."
"Oh, I will. I promise."
The boys pressed their foreheads together, in a deep, shining love, that they knew no one could ever match.
