"Vespera," Gisela said.
"What?" Vespera snapped, particularly grumpy.
"We're not teenagers."
"No, we're not," Vespera said sharply.
"So I'm not going to beat around the bush like them."
"Get on with it then."
"I want to go out with you," Gisela spat out.
"What?" That had completely caught Vespera's attention and shocked her out of her bad mood.
"I want to go out with you," she repeated firmly.
"I -" Vespera had no idea what to say. All she could do was move her head in disbelief.
"I'll take that as a yes." Gisela said.
"Good," Vespera said, stacking her papers. "Good. I will expect to have a good time." She tried to smile a bit, but that didn't work very well.
As she was walking out the door, she quickly gave a small peck on Gisela's cheek, then patted her shoulder awkwardly.
Oof. This would be interesting.
And Vespera only hoped she wouldn't be awkward about it.
