How It Works:
By putting their hand on a solid texture, the user can change their skin to that texture. And, as an added bonus, the user can control whatever that texture is. For example, if the user puts their hand on a tree, their skin changes to wood. The user can control that wood, but they can't control metal.
Drawback:
The tougher the texture is, the harder it is to move.
