A couple days passed and Chi tried to show it the best he could that nothing was wrong. I could tell though that something clearly was. I woke up to the sound of a cat purring and opened my eyes to see that it was brighter that usual in our room, so I figured that I should get up. I sat up in bed as I yawned before I turned to put on my glasses. I looked over to see that Chi was standing in front of the window, holding the curtain back as he looked outside. I pushed myself out from under the covers and walked over to him.

I too looked out the window as I asked, "What do you see out there, hun?"

He sighed as he said, "Oh nothing. It's just that Ryu and Akihiko stopped by to say that they were going to go out for a walk, so I watched them leave."

I looked around outside before asking, "Did they leave yet?"

"Yeah," he said under his breath, "they left about ten minutes ago."

I looked up at him and asked, "Well then, why are you still looking out the window?"

"I just got lost in thought I guess." he said in a blue tone.

I put both of my hands on his cheeks and squished his face. I smiled as I hummed with satisfaction, which he then hummed as if he was asking a question. "You're so cute." I said in a happy tone.

As I continued to squeeze his face, he said, "I don't want to be cute...I want to be handsome and strong."

I chuckled as I said, "And I want to be seen as sexy and ruthless, but here you are, thinking that I'm adorable."

He put his hands on my wrists and pulled them away from his face as he said, "You are."

I nodded my head once, "The same goes for you." then walked off to the dresser.

As he still stood by the window, he turned around and watched me walk off. He looked like he was about to say something, but he stopped himself. I opened the dresser drawer as I looked over at him and asked, "What's up, hun?"

He finally walked over to me as he put his hands in his pockets and said as he stopped next to me, "Nothing."

I stopped digging around the dresser and said, "Something is on your mind still..." I turned towards him and put my arms around him, "Is it that you still think it was your fault?"

He looked away and said in a low tone, "Of course I still think that."

I pulled him close to me, "Well stop it, alright? It was cause of my past and all of it just pushed me too far." I reached up and squished his face again as I pulled him down to my level, and kissed him. "Your bed head is really cute." I said with a smile. He straightened out his back and began to fix his hair as I giggled.

He then walked off to the bathroom to fix his hair as I continued to try and find a pair of jeans. I eventually found them and walked to the bathroom as I picked up a long sleeve shirt off the top of the dresser. Chi was still trying to fix his hair while I changed behind him and tossed what I wore to bed into the hamper. Once I was changed, I used a quirk to curl my hair before I walked behind him and put my arms around him, then leaned around him so I was under his arm. I watched in the mirror as he finished messing around with his hair. He looked at me through the mirror, which I gave a smile, causing him to try and smile too.

"Why don't we go down to the living room and watch TV down there." I suggested.

He sighed, "Okay."

I then let go of him and took his hand as I led us down to the living room. I sat down on the sofa and patted my lap as though I was calling a cat over. He laid down on the couch and used my lap as a pillow. He turned on the TV and found something on there for the both of us to watch. I smiled lightly as I played with his hair. At one point when we were both into watching a movie, the commercials interrupted it. He rolled over so he was on his back and looked up at me. He looked at me with a somber expression.
