I woke up in the middle of the night to my neck hurting like there was no tomorrow. I opened my eyes and saw that Chi was on his phone. I moved a little, trying to relieve my neck pain, which made Chi look to me. "Sorry, did I wake you?" he asked.

I mumbled as I shook my head, "No."

"Do you want me to move?"

I mumbled again, "No." and held onto him so he wouldn't move anywhere.

"Hey, babe?" he asked, which I then hummed. "Earlier when Yamada was saying that you weren't being lectured about supposedly dying again." He paused. "What did he mean by again?"

I looked up at him tiredly, "I thought I told you?"

"I don't think so?"

"It happened when I went on my first class trip while I was at UA."

"Babe, all that you've said about it is that you used an invention that Professor David Shield gave you and that it was the first and only time that either Aizawa and Yamada had hit you." he said.

I looked down as I said, "Well shit, I thought that I told you it. It's something sort of big, ya know?"

He sighed, "No, I don't know."

"Oh, well there was a villain attack on us when we were in the middle of doing this one game in the woods. If I remember correctly, we had to scare the other class as they walked through the woods on a trail, then vice-versa. Anyways, when we were waiting for another group to come back so we could send another one, villains popped up. It was horrible since everyone was spread out. When I found Midoriya and a few others from my class, I found out that the League of Villains were going to kidnap Bakugo." I paused to sigh, "When Midoriya and I were going to get him back since he was trapped in a marble, one of the members was a little kid and used a gun. Honestly, it wasn't even the first time I was shot. Again anyways, when he shot me the first time it hit my right eye- which made it the first red hue -then I noticed that he was going to go for Midoriya. I pushed him out of the way and it hit me in my side." I began to shake my head, "It hurt like hell...like nothing I've ever felt before. Before they left, the kid said that it was coated in a poison."

I paused which caused Chi to ask, "You had your quirks then, right?"

"Yeah, but in the end it was such a potent mixture that it even took me out when I still had them. Though the only thing is that I wasn't out for many days, I was out for a few minutes." I looked off to the side, "It was weird. When I was supposedly dead, I had an out of body experience. Toshi and the other two were there, so I poked them since I thought that they were playing a sick joke on me. I got so angry that I slapped Aizawa and left a mark before I slapped myself since I could see myself on the bed. I then woke up in real life after that." I paused, "I was out for about two weeks, then a little bit longer after I woke up since I was so weak. I then snuck out of the hospital since I didn't want to be there...I hate hospitals."

He put his arm around me and held tightly onto my left hand, "Good thing I'm here so you don't run off anywhere."

I scoffed and got comfy again to try and sleep, "Whatever, I still hate hospitals though."

He then kissed me as I tried to fall asleep, which happened shortly later. What felt like a few minutes, I was woken up by the sun shining on me. It felt so nice and warm that it was almost comforting. I felt around for my glasses and found them on the table beside the bed, so I guessed that Chi must have taken them off of me while I was sleeping since I didn't remember taking them off. I then looked around for him since he wasn't next to me like I remembered. Though I couldn't find him, I found my phone. I picked it up and unlocked it. I found that I had many missed calls and unread text messages, along with emails. I started to read them before I realized that I got sidetracked from texting Chi and asking where he was. Before I could do that, I heard the door slide open and looked in its direction. Sure enough, it was Chi.
