(Name) sniffled as she read her Charms book. It had been about two weeks since the end of Christmas break. Cedric and (Name) had gotten along since Christmas Break with no sightings of Cho Chang at the moment. Their friendship seemed to be built overnight. At least that was what it seemed like to most Hogwarts students that gossiped about them.

"Hi." A deep voice spoke causing (Name) to turn around as she made eye contact with Thomas. She smiled as he sat next to her. It had been a small while since the pair had been able to spend time with each other in peace.

"How is it going?" (Name) asked as she sneezed causing her body to jump up. She sighed as she blew her nose with her handkerchief. It was one of those sneezes that were strong enough to make your body ache afterward.

"Great, but I don't think you look so good," Thomas spoke as he looked concerned. He noticed that (Name)'s face was flushed and her nose seemed to be a little pink. He frowned when she groaned in pain as she placed her hand on her forehead.

"I'm fine. I have an exam tomorrow and I have been feeling better." The young Hufflepuff explained as she fanned her face. It was getting a little hot in here. Maybe they had turned on the fire to the fireplace for too long or perhaps she was wearing too many layers.

"I think you should go see Madam Pomfrey. You look ill." Thomas suggested to the pale looking girl in front of him. He knew that tommorw's test was important, but so was her health. The Hufflepuff teen sighed. How would he convince (Name) that she can take the test later?

(Name) began to cough violently as she covered her mouth with the handkerchief she still had in her hands. After her coughing fit, she took a deep breath as she tried to steady her breathing. She sighed as she leaned back and looked at Thomas. There was no way she was going to get out of this.

"It seems that she has a severe cold." Madam Pomfrey explained to Thomas as (Name) was on the hospital bed. She was still reading her book of Charms even though her eyes were drifting to close.

"How long will it take for her to recover?" Thomas asked as he looked at his friend. He could tell that she was struggling to sleep. At least now she would be able to rest and fully recover with Madam Pomfrey taking care of her.

"Well that depends. I do not know how long she has been ill and if this is the peak of her illness or just the beginning. Was she ill yesterday?" Madam Pomfrey asked the young Hufflepuff. If he could answer these questions she should give him a better estimate of when she would return to her studies.

"I'm not sure. I had not seen her this entire week." Thomas explained. It was true. He was busy with his own classes and group of friends that he had barely seen her today. It was the first time in a few weeks perhaps.

"Well in that case. I believe three to four days she should be out of here." Madam Pomfrey explained as she looked at the young Hufflepuff. She sighed as she realised that (Name) had fallen asleep reading her Charms book. She knew that she would have to keep a close eye on her. The young girl didn't seem like she liked to rest.

"She's where?" Cedric asked Katherine. He had been busy with Quidditch practice that he had assumed that (Name) had already had dinner, but when he noticed Katherine and Thomas speaking he knew something had happened.

"I just explained it to you. Thomas took (Name) to see Madam Pomfrey because she is ill." Katherine spoke as she sighed. Was he being dense or did he just not like the fact that Thomas was with (Name)?

"How long has she been there? When is she coming back?" Cedric asked Katherine as he leaned back in the chair that was in the Hufflepuff common room. He was clearly worried. He had seen her yesterday and she did not seem too ill.

"I do not know. You can visit her tomorrow since it's almost curfew and then you can bombard all your questions onto Madam Pomfrey and not me." Katherine spoke as she took a deep breath. She was missing her friend too, but she knew that she was going to see her tomorrow.

Cedric leaned further back until his chair fell along with him. He groaned as he laid on the floor. Perhaps he could get up in the morning and see (Name) now. Unless he pretends he injured himself so he could go at this very moment. The young boy smiled as he laid there. It seemed like a good idea.
