"Did you hear?" Katherine asked me as we walked to lunch. I shook my head as we sat down at the Hufflepuff table. "Did I hear what?" I asked as I picked up a plate and started to fill the plate with food. "That Thomas likes you!" I looked at Katherine confused. "Thomas doesn't like me." I said as I started to eat salad.

"Who doesn't like you?" A voice asked. I turned my head to see Cedric sitting next to me. "No one." I said quietly. "No, no, no, it's who likes her." Katherine told Cedric. "And who may that be?" Cedric asked.

I sighed as I kept eating. Cedric probably won't be too happy about what Katherine is about to say. "Thomas!" Katherine replied. Cedric eyes widened. "Thomas likes her? Does he know he's too old for (Name)! She's barely a 1st year! He shouldn't even like her right now!" Cedric argued.

This would not end well. But I don't think Thomas likes me. Cedric did make a great point on how Thomas, even though he doesn't , likes me, he shouldn't. I was simply too young to think about dating. Honestly I'm 11 years old! He's 13! It may not be a huge age difference but it is when your younger than 13! Everyone looks older once their 13.

"Hello (Name)." I turned to see Thomas standing behind Katherine. "Hi Thomas. It's nice to see you." I said as Thomas smiled and then walked away to sit down.

"Oooo (Name) has a boyfriend!" Katherine teased. I rolled my eyes. "Just because he may or may not like me doesn't mean he's my boyfriend!" I said before we started laughing.

I heard Cedric sigh as he stood up and left. "I wonder what's wrong with him." I said to no one in particular. "I'll be back." I told Katherine as I left the table and went after Cedric.

"Cedric! Cedric! Wait!" I yelled as I finally caught up to him. "What's wrong?" I asked Cedric. He sighed. "It's nothing. I just want to get to class early." Cedric answered.

"Oh, I see. Well, I'll leave. See you around." I said as I turned around. I sighed. I didn't want to go back to eat. I was already full and I did not want to go back to the gossip that was going around.

"I'll just go to the library." I mumbled to myself.

"Hey." I turned to see Thomas sitting next to me. "Oh, hey Thomas. How long have you been here sitting next to me?" Thomas shrugged. "I just got here." Thomas said. "Oh. Okay." In then continued reading my book.

"So have you heard anything about me?" Thomas asked. I sighed as I looked back at him. "I heard that you like me." I said as I blushed. This was so embarrassing! Thomas's face turned red. "Oh." I giggled.

"Is it true?" I questioned. Thomas shrugged. "Well I like you as a friend. Does that count?" I nodded. "Ya it does." Thomas smiled. "Good." Thomas said. "Good." I replied as I started reading once again. I wonder if this will change anything.
