You laugh and hug him, causing him to chuckle

Everyone but you and Colby tell her to shut up. You make eye contact with him.

You all pile into a circle around the fire while Sam and Colby get food.

Everyone piles to get food, while you sit behind and stare into the fire. Why was Brennen actually curious? Why's Katrina pushing me to him? Why isn't Colby eating? And why the hell is this chair so cold?!
Colby- what you thinking about?
You shrug, looking up at him

He laughs and sits next to you
Colby- if your not gonna eat, wanna swim? Though I think you need meat on your bones. Your hella skinny
Y/n- Naw, I don't like food
Colby- I'll bottle feed you, get something to eat. Then we can swim together, deal?

You shake on it, and you grab a small plate, sitting back down. He was already in the pool causing you to giggle. Brennen sits by Sam this time, leaving you alone to eat. 10 minutes have passed, and you finally finish picking at your food. Nibbling food like a bird makes it take a while to eat I guess. Remembering Colby's deal, you walk over and slip into the pool, sneaking over to him whilst he has his eyes closed. You're about to touch him-
Colby- Your aura is too strong kid, try harder next time

You splash him, only to receive a chuckle.

You groan and flop into the water.

You make like, 2 million attempts at speaking before giving up with a groan.

Colby chuckles

You laugh and stand by him, but Brennen scoots in between you.
Brennen, How's my boyfriend and girlfriend

Colby rolls his eyes with a chuckle and pulls himself out. Brennen quickly turns to you.

Brennen- Y/n, You cannot. He's not how he acts. He's different.
Y/n- is this because you fucked him?
Brennen- no, this is because I know him. He is not without many challenges. He's not without surprises. Please don't fall in love with him. You came here and met all these people! I'm sure Mike or Kevin would like you just as much.

Colby- hey guys, what ya talking about?
He and Brennen slightly glare at each other, making you question what's really going on.
Y/n- We were talking about the single men I could date

You laugh slightly before kissing Brennen's cheek
Y/n- I'll be back.
You smile softly before getting up and walking to the bathroom, looking in the mirror

You shake your head at yourself and grab a drink before walking back out.
Colby- there you are cutie
Brennen- stfu man only I can call her that
You giggle before sliding into the water between the two men.
Y/n- please do not fight over me my dear friends, I am not in love
You dramatically look away and they both laugh.
Brennen- man, if I wasn't gay
You lightly hit him
Y/n- don't bring my hopes up, dude
Colby- Woah now. I'm sure the whole friend group will be all over you, your gorgeous!
Brennen glares at him and he chuckles
Y/n- Brennen, don't worry about it, he won't win me over that easy
You laugh and Colby pretends to be offended.
Brennen- good!
TIME SKIP
At this time, everyone has left the pool and most are inside warming up. Colby's in his room, Sam and Katrina in their's, and the rest of you curled up on the couch watching Corey and Aaron game. Brennen gets up, glancing at you.
Brennen- I'm gonna go say goodbye to Colby and then head out. Sleep well babe
Y/n- You too!
Brennen walks upstairs. 5 or so minutes later, he comes down looking slightly angry before leaving. You furrow your brows and say goodnight to the others.
Devyn- Get good sleep tonight, I wanna see those eye bags go away
Y/n- Don't worry Dev, I gotcha.
You head upstairs and knock on Colby's door.
Colby- Brennen I told you she's fi-
He opens the door and sees you
Colby- oh hi Y/n. What you need?
Y/n- Brennen left looking pretty pissed off, everything okay?
Colby- yeah, just talking. You should get off to bed kid, you seem tired
Almost on command, you yawn, rolling your eyes.
Y/n- yeah yeah, night bro
Colby- goodnight!
He shuts the door and you head to your room. You listen to music as your eyes flutter shut.
Time to get some much-needed sleep.
