Chapter 14- Oops

Colby- wake up darling~
You slowly open your eyes, yawning softly. Quickly, you sit up and look at Colby, who you were just basically laying on top of. He chuckles and looks at you
Colby- Now I'm coldddd 
You blush and shake your head, laying your head back on his chest
Y/n- didn't think you wanted the cuddles
Colby- I stayed here all night did I not?
Y/n- okay true... still
He rolls his eyes in a playful manner and chuckles once more.
Colby- you sure talk a lot in your sleep
You look up at him and gawk a little
Y/n- what was I saying
Colby- a lot of it was random I guess
You don't notice the small glint in his eye as you nod. 
Y/n- well that's chill then I guess
He chuckles and nods, playing with your hair. 
Sam bursts into your room and his eyes widen when he sees Colby, making you confused and making Colby smirk a little
Colby- hey ol' buddy ol' pal
Sam- Colby get out of here
Colby- oh but we were just having small talk
Y/n- I don't mind him in here
Sam looks at you and back at Colby. 
Sam- Cole. Now. 
Colby groans and starts getting up, making you whine as you sit up and lose his touch. 
Colby pushes past Sam, each boy exchanging a glare before Sam mumbles an apology and walks behind him. You stare at your wall for a while before hearing a frustrated groan and a door slam. Soon following a less-noisy slam. You look at your door in confusion before shrugging it off as it is none of your business. Deciding the wall has become boring, you get up and get dressed, picking black jean shorts, a baggy sweater, and fishnet leggings, complimented with heeled boots. 
You decide to go to Starbucks, texting the group chat if they want any and what the orders are. While you're there you can apply for a job. 
You go on your way, jumping in the car and driving
~when you arrive~
You walk in there and turn to see the manager arguing with a customer, that person being Katrina's ex. You watch him a little before going to the counter, trying to hide. If he realizes you're Kat's cousin, you could end up in a fight. You decide to get the orders, pulling out your phone. The lady tells you to wait at a table (idk I've never been to Starbucks) while she gets you the drinks. The manager walks by, and you stop him shyly
Y/n- Hey, I was wondering if you had any openings? I would like to apply for a job here
Manager- why we do! You can call me Ronny!
You smile wide and nod
Manager- come upfront and we can get you set up with an application paper.
You exchange smiles
Y/n- Alright! Let's go do that
You earn a chuckle for your enthusiasm as you follow Ronny up to the front. 
Ronny- Just fill this paper out and bring it back when you're done. If we like the paper, we'll have you come in. Cool?
Y/n- Yeah, that's great
You take the paper and Ronny goes back to work. Moments later you get your drinks and drive home. Texting the chat that you got home, there are a bunch of footsteps running down the stairs, belonging to thirsty friends. You laugh as they all bombard you, grabbing and taking as much as they can. You take your own and throw away the trays, sitting on the couch as you and the roommates talk. 
Y/n- I might get a job there sometime
Katrina- I heard they're really nice to their employees
Y/n- but rude as hell to your ex... He was there arguing with Ronny, the manager, before I had got there. 
Katrina- I hope he cried
You and her laugh and Sam shakes his head
Sam- I'm never breaking up with you
Katrina winks at him before giggling and taking a sip of her drink. You sure love your friends. These are the people you surround yourself with, and you couldn't be happier
Then an exhausted Colby comes downstairs.. sadness evident on his face.
