Chapter 13- Knowing

You wake up to a camera in your face being held by Sam. He must be drunk because he smells like alcohol. Brennen and Colby groan at your sides and you finally get a concept of what's happening. 
Y/n- heyyy I was sleeping
Sam- on my best friendd
Brennen- If you post this there will be 3some fanfics
Colby- I wouldn't mind as long as I'm the top
Brennen- No me
Y/n- Aye stop talking
Everyone laughs and Sam puts his camera back on the table
Sam- vlog footage, check.
Y/n- you're so weird
Katrina- look at the cuddle bugs
You push off of them and roll onto the floor
Y/n- das gay tho lowkey
Brennen- two tops don't work! I'm tellin you!
Colby chuckles and pulls you too him
Colby- he's right tho
You laugh and swat him away, earning a fake pout
Devyn- It's like 3am, I'm going to bed! Goodnight babes
You all say goodnight and Corey trudges behind her
Brennen- oh shit! Kobe! I gotta go 
He laughs and gets up, grabbing his things
Colby- Don't kill my son 
Y/n- Don't kill de pupper
Brennen laughs and runs out the door, leaving you and Colby on the couch with Sam and Katrina standing there. You notice sam slip his hand on the small of her back, indicating something in their own unspoken language. She nods and yawns
Katrina- I think we're gonna go watch a movie or something and fall asleep, goodnight guys!
Sam- yeah, goodnight
You and Colby wave as they leave, stuck alone again. 
Y/n- that sure happened quick
He chuckles and looks down at you.
Colby- get some sleep kiddo, you need it
Y/n- I told you not to call me that! 
Colby laughs and lightly hits your shoulder. 
Colby- go to beddddd
You playfully glare and agree, walking back to your room. Was that flirting? No, he's just being really nice. You change into pj's and wipe off your little amount of makeup. You only put it on to be less insecure, no matter the amount. Your deep eye bags and lifeless pale skin looks better with an accent of blush and contour. You decide to grab your computer, pulling up vampire diaries to finish the last episodes. 
Yawning, you crawl on your bed and set the computer up on your nightstand. You grab a pop from your mini-fridge (yeah, Dev bought it for you) and watch the show. You think about how you're going to get a job if your on a bunch of famous YouTuber's videos. Maybe you can start a channel? Or music or something? I don't know. Whatever works... Anyway, you look up at the ceiling while you think. Sometimes. 
Knock knock
You look at your door in confusion before getting up and peeking out. You see a shy looking Colby and laugh a little
Y/n- Yes?
Colby- Can I join you for a while? Sam and Katrina aren't the quietest..
Y/n- Oh my god are they-
He nods and you laugh, covering your mouth. You open the door and let him in. Once he gets in you shut the door and crawl into your bed. 
Y/n- Jake is staying at tara's tonight, hmm? 
He nods
Y/n- So you came here because I'm the only one awake?
He nods again
Y/n- well come watch Netflix with me. 
Colby- what are we watching?
He crawls into bed next to you, looking at you and the computer
Y/n- Vampire diaries
He scoffs a little 
Colby- they don't have any real information about vampires. If anything they pick the hottest guys they can find and put fake teeth on them
Y/n- that's the point Colbert, if vampires existed they'd never be able to resist murder
Colby- they've lived among us for years, killing when they wanted to. Not because of some urge as twilight depicts. Though blood sm- must smell amazing to them
Y/n- twilight has to be wrong about them being cold, I know that
Colby- how would you know?
Y/n- well they'd have to at least be the temperature of the air around them. Even though their blood doesn't pump it's like when you put metal in boiling water it turns warm because the temperature surrounding it is warm. Well hot technically.
He chuckles and nods
Colby- that's probably the truth. Or they may be able to adapt into human temperature. If they can read minds and live without a beating heart, I'm sure they could do that. Maybe not before, but they could have adapted just like humans. 
Y/n- that would be really cool. They fake breathing too, so maybe that helps warm the inside?
Colby- maybe they need to breathe here and there to keep their body working. I mean blood can't be the only thing they live off of right? 
Y/n- that's so true! Can I tell you a secret?
He chuckles and nods once more
Y/n- when I was younger I was super invested in vampires and convinced myself I was one. My mom.. she always laughed at me and said my pale skin fit the role.. 
You sigh, thinking back to your childhood.
Colby- I don't think all vampires are pale, but that is pretty funny
Y/n- that's true, since they obviously aren't actually allergic to the sun maybe their skin still has some sort of tanning property. But I wonder if they can build muscles
Colby- no matter their size I feel like they'd still be able to have those superhuman qualities like strength.
Y/n- yeah, that would make sense.
He chuckles and looks at you
Colby- so can we watch something else?
Y/n- Sure!
