11 - Twins

It's been a few months, and it's finally close to Christmas!

DECEMBER 19TH 1943

Our school break was December 26th til January 1st.

And we have the Christmas party hosted by Slughorn  on December 21st only for Slytherins.

You noticed Tom and Nicholas would have to go back to their orphanage when the Christmas break
arrived.

Your adopted parents were rich, you lived in a mansion, with plenty of guest rooms.

You and Tom weren't as close, but you and Nicholas were pretty much best friends.

He even let you call him Nick.

You offered Nick And Tom to stay with you on the break, Nick said yes quickly, but Tom on the other hand, he hates taking friendly gestures.

So Nicholas just forced him to say yes.

Nick was such a prankster, he pranks his brother and his friends all the time.

"Hey Nick." You say, walking into his dorm.

"Hey." Nick replied, turning around facing you.

"Where's Tom?" You ask.

"Sleeping, he didn't sleep at all last night." Nick said.

"Is he okay?" You question.

"Yeah I guess he's just tired." Nick replies flipping through books.

You nodded and went back to Tom's bedroom.

It was dark and smelled good, like his cologne.

You flipped the light switch, turning it on.

Tom's eyes fluttered open.

He was now propped up on his elbows, looking at you.

"What are you doing here." Tom asked, blocking out the light in his eyes with his arm.

"It's 1:34 in the afternoon, why are you still asleep?"
You question.

"Shit." Tom mumbled, getting up.

"Tom put a shirt on!" You yelled.

"What do you think I'm doing." Tom replies, grabbing his shirt on the floor.

He ran his fingers through his messy dark hair.

"Get out I'm going to shower." Tom says.

You grabbed a book from his nightstand and began reading.

Tom turned around, to see if you were still there.

He rolled his eyes and walked towards you, snatching the book from your hand.

"Stop being so touchy." Tom scoffed.

"Wow, you read a lot." You say.

"I do." Tom replied.

"Tom you literally have a whole library in here." You laughed.

"Very funny, now get out." Tom demands.

You turn around and left his room.

"Did you wake him up?" Nick asked.

"Yep." You reply, sitting down on leather couch.

Nicholas shook his head, and a small chuckle escaped his mouth.

"Are you going to Slughorns Christmas party?" You questions.

"I am." Nick says.

"What about Tom?" You ask another question.

"He is." Nick implied.

You nodded.

A FEW MINUTES LATER -

Tom walked out of his bedroom.

"Hey Tom." Nick says.

Tom slightly waved.

"Okay well I have to go dress shopping with Eleanor for Slughorns Christmas party, so I'll see you guys later." You say getting up.

"Hopefully not." Tom mumbles.

You rolled your eyes and left the dorm.

WITH ELEANOR -

"Okay, personally I think you would look good in this dress." Eleanor says.

"And I think you'd look good in this one." You reply, pointing at a black shimmery dress.

"Yes! I love it." Eleanor laughed.

You nod.

You and Eleanor buy the dresses and make your way back to Hogwarts.

Once you arrived, you put your dress in your closet.

"I'm going to go to dinner, are you coming?" Eleanor asks.

"Oh yeah." You say.

Eleanor smiled, and you followed her down to the Great Hall.

After everyone was seated, Dumbledore got everyone's attention.

"I would like to introduce two new students, both siblings, and both 6th years." Dumbledore announced.

"Please welcome, Amber and Axel Collins." Dumbledore says.

Amber and Axel both walk in, and wave.

McGonagall motioned Amber to sit down in the chair for sorting first.

She placed the sorting hat on Amber's head.

"Hm... leadership... ambition....SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat said.

Everyone clapped and Amber sat down at the Slytherin table.

Axel then sat down on the chair, and McGonagall placed the hat on his head.

"This one is quite easy.... SLYTHERIN!" The hat calls.

Everyone clapped once again, as Axel sat down next to his twin sister.
