"No, I... I miss him. But I can't just forgive him, right?"

I ran over to Flynn and was about to ask her where Julie was but our teacher had started class. A couple of minutes later Julie ran in. She went and talked to the teacher and then came over by us.

"So, why didn't you wake me up? I missed my first three classes." Julie told Flynn. "You missed classes? Dad's gonna be so mad." I told her.

"Good reach."

"You said you were never gonna show your face at school again. And I'm a very literal person." Flynn told her. "Maybe too literal." I said to Flynn.

"Breath out."

"It's okay." Julie told Flynn. "It's those stupid ghosts that I'm really upset at. I'd kill them if they weren't already dead." Julie finished. "Having a band is supposed to help your social life not ruin it." Flynn told us. I started to tense up. "Ex-band." Julie corrected. "Right. Sorry. Ex-band." Flynn said.

"Get down to the leg."

"It's all so messed up. I thought they were in this with me. But obviously, I was wrong." Julie said. "How are you feeling Jess?" Asked Julie. "Awful. I just want to cry right now. It's all my fault that we broke up anyway." I said. "Hey, both of you, don't blame yourselves. You can only be so strong when three cute ghosts ask you to join a band. And when one breaks your heart." Flynn said.

"And speaking of cute, have you talked to Nick today? He was pretty chatty at the dance." Flynn told Julie. "Yeah he was." I agreed. "No, and I'm kinda dreading it. At least I know I won't see him in this class." Julie said as we bent over.

"Wha... you've got to be kidding me." I heard Julie say. "What?" Flynn and I asked. Flynn and I stood up to see the lacrosse team. "What are they doing here?" Julie asked.

"Right on time, coach Barron. So, students, coach Barron and I have decided that his lacrosse team will be part of our class for a few weeks. Many pro athletes have used dance to help them with coordination and mobility." Our teacher said.

"This isn't about flirting with girls." Their coach told them. They all laughed. "It's about making us better so we can actually win a game. We lost against Burbank. Burbank!" He yelled. "Well let's all remember that composer is a big part of dance." Our teacher said. The three of us held in a laugh. "Everybody pair up." Our teacher told the boys. No one moved, "Let's go." Coach Barron said as he clapped at them.

One of the guys came over and took Flynn to go dance with him. Then Ricky came over, "So partners?" He asked. "Of course." I told him. We ran off as Julie tried to get me to stay. Then I looked over at her and saw she was paired up with Nick.

"So, ladies, let's do what we learn last week, and we will perform this with the boys this Friday. Coach Barron and I will demonstrate." Our teacher said. "No. I don't dance." He said. "You do now." Our teacher told him.

Our teacher gave us the directions, "And jump out, and bounce, and snake. Reach out..... and turn around. Boys, jump out." Ricky landed super hard causing me to let out a laugh. "It's not funny." He told me.

"Let's do it again. Half-time, no music."

"So Ricky is our just dance gonna pay off?" I asked jokingly, "Um.... totally." He said very sarcastically. "And I've been going to Nick's. His sister throws a lot of princesses dance parties." He told me. I just laughed.

"Five, six, seven, eight."

We started dancing and Ricky was doing fairly good. "I see our just dance does work your royal highness." I said. Ricky let out a laugh, "Thanks your royal princessness." I laughed.

"So are you feeling any better?" Ricky asked. I shook my head, "No, I... I miss him. But I can't just forgive him, right?" I asked. "That's up to you. But what he did really hurt you so be careful. I don't want to see you like that again." Ricky told me. I smiled, "Hey well we can see how it goes."

"Really good. Once more. With music."

The music started and we realized after a bit that this was a slower song and we would be awful at taking it seriously. We couldn't stop laughing every time he would spin me.

"Hey look...." I pointed to Julie and nick who was flirting. Ricky knew Julie liked him and he had some new information to tell me. "Did you hear he broke up with Carrie?" He asked. I let out a gasp, "No way! Ricky your such a gossip." I said jokingly. He looked at me, faking being hurt, "Ouch Jessica." He teased.

I tensed up, "Don't call me that." I said. "Okay..... can I ask why?" Ricky asked confused. "Um... Reggie used to call me that and......" I told him. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. Ricky pulled me into a hug, "It's okay Jess, you'll get through this." He told me stroking my hair.

I pulled away, "Okay well I hope you're right. So what's going on in your life?" I asked. He smiled, "Well, I'm thinking about joining the musical, to get Nini back." I looked at him shocked, "But you hate musicals." He rolled his eyes, "I don't hate them."

"Sure. And I had a killer performance last night." I said sarcastically. He shook his head, "Well do you think it'll work?" He asked. I nodded, "Yeah probably as long as you get Troy and she gets Gabriella." He sighed, "I know, at least this might help with my dancing." I nodded, "Yeah and I'm no expert but I can help out if you need me."

He smiled, "Thanks." He then jumped and fell to the ground. I burst into laughter, "So much for the princess dance parties." I said and he got up, "Come on class is over let's go."

I was supposed to have practice but I just took Julie home, I could barely get out of bed this morning let alone run.

We got home and walked out to mom's studio. I wanted to talk to her about last night and so did Julie.

We opened the doors and you'll never guess who we saw.
