Sydney Sheldon was the king of suspenseful thrillers with strong main characters! He was the best in that genre in my opinion. His books will always hold a special place in my heart because even though he died before I was even old enough to read, his books are what got me into reading when I was 10. And Rage of Angels is in my top 3 favourite books by him. It's also the one that devastated me the most.
The description doesn't do this book justice so I'll give you a quick explanation myself. This book is about a young lawyer who moves to New York trying to follow in her father's footsteps, but then on her first day at her new job something horrible happens and her career goes down in flames! Not only is she alone and broke after that day, she has also made an enemy who won't rest until she's completely destroyed. Sounds interesting, eh?

Even if the whole 'lawyer main character' thing and 'huge controversy' isn't really your thing when it comes to your reading taste, give this book a chance anyways because it's so much more than that. Jennifer is such an amazing character because she's strong and witty and funny.. let's just say if you asked me what I wanted to be in the future when I was 10, I would've said "Jennifer Parker." Who am I kidding I still wanna be her lmao
The whole love triangle thing mentioned in the description makes it sound like a cliche Mafia romance but I promise it's not. Just prepare yourself for a heart wrenching thing that happens in the book because I still haven't recovered from it and you won't either.
