“Come over here!” Elizabeth says to them. “I need my hug from each of you.”
“We’re going.” Danny says.
“So dinner is ready, you will have to tell me how this past week went for you all.”
“Let them breathe.” Emilio says.
“Hey, everyone.” Kaiden says.
“Hi, everyone.” Scarlett says.
“Hi, Kaiden and Scarlett.” Danny responds before greeting them with a hug too.
“I am. Let’s go to the table.” Elizabeth says.
“I hope you all had a good vacation.” Scarlett says.
“How was the trip for you both?” Elizabeth asks Seth and Nate.
“It was good to get away for a few days with no work.” Seth responds.
“Yes, it was and we had good weather too.” Nate responds.
“I bet. I did take Elizabeth once there too.”
“I remember.” Elizabeth says. “How about you Danny, how is your relationship with Caleb going?”
“It’s going great. We had fun this week.”
“So what did you all do?” Kaiden asks.
“They had more than fun.” Nate says.
“It would be expected. We had great weather here.” Emilio says.
“I mean they had sex.” Nate says.
“Nate!” Seth says pinching him.
“I didn’t need to know that.” Emilio and Kaiden say.
Danny is blushing and not looking at his grandparents. It’s become a family affair.
“Ya’ll did?!” Elizabeth asks.
“Really?” Scarlett asks.
“Aww, that’s cute.” Elizabeth says.
“He’s no longer a baby.” Scarlett says.
“I want to die.” Danny mumbles.
“Don’t say that even when kidding.” Seth reprimands.
“Don’t embarrass him.” Emilio says to Elizabeth.
“I’m not going to.” She responds.
“Well if anyone is interested it was fun living with Uncle Robert and Esteban for a few days. There is always much laughter at their house.” Xander says.
“Yes, we got to love Robert.” Elizabeth says. “That reminds me of the video.”
“What video?” Xander asks.
“Oh, we’ve never showed it to you all…we had a competition and they lost playing bowling. They had to sing and dance; Robert, Esteban, Karla, and Adrian. It was going fine until Robert stumbled and caused everyone to fall.” Seth explains.
Danny smiles. “I can imagine.”
“Can we watch it?” Xander asks.
“Maybe.” Seth responds.
“Well, I’m going to get the dessert.” Elizabeth announces.
She brings out a two layer cake, “Happy birthday, Danny! We didn’t forget.” Elizabeth says.
