After long silence
"Have you seen your chacha again?"
"No, babuji once said he had called him asking about me but never saw him again. I won't blame him. My mother's relatives said pretty bad things .
"Khushi you said you wanted to go to Lacknow and tell Shreya's family about all this directly. Didn't you? So can we go tomorrow?"
Khushi lifted her head and looked Arnav with questions in her eyes.
Arnav smiled a little and caressed her hair.
"I will come with you. I should be the one to tell them reasons for hiding you .More than that I want to see them and invite them personally .We will go tomorrow morning.
"But Arnavji, this soon. How will we go? More over tomorrow is a working day."
"Don't worry about office. I will ask Akash and Aman to manage we will take our chopper. Visit them and invite and then if you want we can go and see Gupta family"
"Chopper..you own one? But I have never been in one before."
"Yes we own one and don't worry I will be with you. You just conform they will be available and we won't cause any inconvenience to them"
"Are you sure" Arnav smiled a little and pecked her forehead again
"Yes I am sure. Now call them"
As planned Arnav and Khushi went Lucknow to meet ram and family. All through the journey Arnav held Khushi close to him and if he can't then he held her hand not leaving her for a moment.
After they reached ,they went to Malhothr's house directly. Shravan was out of station .They were shocked to Know the things happened without their Knowledge. Ram wanted to go to Gupta house and make them pay that very moment but Khushi and Ragini stopped him. He was angry on Raizadas too for placing Khushi in that situation but his mother and wife calmed him. They were of the opinion at least she is married to an educated self-made man from good family than some widower like previous time buaji pulled the stunt.
Arnav explained his reasons, his issues .Ram understood but he threatened him to take care of Khushi well otherwise he will make Arnav regret.
Nobody would have dared to do that but Arnav understood the concern they have for Khushi. Arnav and Khushi invited the whole family for the party .They accepted the invitation. All they want was Khushi to be happy and they will happily take part in her happiness. All through the conversation Shreya kept quit and was analyzing every move of Arnav. How he frequently held Khushi's hand, him using us and our whenever he mentioned about his family or office. How he always tries to reassure Khushi with small smiles.
Ram's family compelled them to stay with them at least for a day but they refused stating their need to return back as soon as possible.
Before they were about to bid bye, Shreya came near him
"I don't know how your relationship with khushi is? I will surely ask her but before that listen to me carefully Mr.Raizada. Khushi is the purest soul I have ever met. If you ever be the reason for her tears, you will pay .Don't think she doesn't have anyone to bother about her. She has me and my family. Keep that mind."
If in any other situation somebody had said something similar to threatening him they would have been by now regretting even being born, but Arnav was amused seeing this petite girl trying to threaten him. He could read it in her eyes her concern for her friend.
"I assure you .I will take care of my Khushi" Arnav said stressing every single word.
"And Shreya it's jijaji or Jiju."
