After they joined back ,Chachu and family too left after thanking Raizadas for the wonderful day. After sometime, Dadi who saw her daughter in law struggling with lots of gifts boxes asked
"What happened bitiya ? What's with all these gifts packets and all?"
"Dadi Chachu brought them. He wanted to give you all personally but couldn't because of the things happened in the morning .He assigned me to personally handover them to all of you" Khushi struggled with a handful of packets and gift boxes .Nk quickly went and helped his bhabhi even before Arnav stood up to help her.
"But what is the need for these bitiya ?" Dadi asked
"I asked him dadi but he said it is his right as my family and he wanted to do so many things in my marriage so he is fulfilling it at least this way and that made me shut" Khushi said guilty looking being put in this situation
"Let it be dadi. He kind of craves to do things for Khushi. Like compensating for the lost years" Arnav said to which Dadi nodded Khushi with the help of Nk handover the gift to all including Guptas. Buaji sulked but neither way accepted seeing her brother's glare. That's is when Hp and JP jointly brought a very large box
"Where should we keep this Bhabhi" they asked Khushi
"Keep it here Hp ji. We will take to that to the room later. But you have to help me " Khushi said and give them gifts brought by her Chachu.
"Ji bhabhiji"
"What is it Khushi. With the size of the box I am sure you yourself can be easily packed it that box" Arnav mocked
"I don't know Arnavji. Chachiji said these are some of my favorite things along with some of their gifts " Khushi shrugged
"I am so eager to open my gift. Bhabhi do you mind that." Nk asked enthusiastically
"Why will I Nk Bhai. I too am eager. I so love to open gifts" Khushi said cheerfully. Arnav hit his forehead seeing the childish behavior of his wife and brother.
Khushi's cheerful mood didn't last long .She became emotional seeing the things inside the box. Arnav immediately went to her side comforting her.
"What happened?" Khushi took out the photo frame of her Parents which made her emotional. Then there were things she used to cherish which was gifted by her father and her Chachu. A photo album with her childhood picks with her family .A heavy jewelry box with her mother's and her dadi's jewelry. She remembers her mamma wearing those jewelry.
"You look so cute in the Photos Khushi. My wife was so adorable even in her childhood." Arnav tried changing her mood
"Really. Show me to bitiwa. Let me see my daughter in law's childhood photo too" Mami helped him. Soon the topic of discussion was Khushi's expression on various photos.
Later Khushi took the jewelry box and ran her fingers through a particular necklace.
"Your mom's?" Arnav asked
"I remember papa gifting this to her on their wedding anniversary. She treasured it. I once asked her to let me try it for once. She said she will give me it on my marriage." Khushi smiled at the memory.
"It is so beautiful" to which Khushi nodded.
"This is dadaji's first gift to dadi. Papa once made me wear this .Papa and Chachu always says I resembled their mother a lot in features." She said holding a rani haar.
Buaji who was seeing all the things going around asked Garima in a hushed voice
"Where did these came from. Her mother's jewelry was with you. Wasn't it?
