Khushi entered the office and approached receptionist.
"Hi,I am newly appointed here. Can you guide me to HR cabin?"
"sure mam ,your name please"
"Khushi Gupta"
"Mam, You can go to second floor,3rd cabin." Receptionist guided Khushi to HR cabin.
"Thank you"
"it's pleasure mam".
HR manager asked Khushi to meet Mr.Mathur after some procedures. Khushi knocked Aman's cabin and entered after getting approval .After some necessary introduction Aman gave Khushi some files of the immediately commencing projects to study and give a report as soon as possible. It was to confirm her efficiency .Khushi gladly took the job. Then Aman introduced her to her team and showed her the cabin .
It has been 3 hours after Khushi joining the office. Arnav was waiting for Khushi to come and meet him which didn't happen.So after some hours when Khushi didn't showed at his cabin Arnav called his manager to inquire about the new appointment. He came to know his wife has joined at the right time but didn't come meet him .He felt hurt by her actions but thought to give her a call .Khushi attended the call after some rings.
"Are you okay?" Khushi couldn't even say hello. Even before that came Arnav's question.
"Ji" Khushi had a small smile while answering back.
"Why didn't you come and meet me? I told you I will introduce you to your team"
"Nobody told me to meet the CEO and Aman sir introduced me to my team.so I didn't find any difficulty here"
"I am not saying about meeting CEO Khushi. I am saying about you meeting your HUSBAND"
"Ji ,but nobody here knows that and you were the one who wanted it like that . So if I come to your cabin without any reason people will question, for which I may not have answers." Even though she felt good when Arnav said about meeting her husband she couldn't help but to point out the obvious.
Arnav heaved a sigh. soon he will have to make arrangements otherwise this hide and seek will get on his nerves.
"Nobody would dare to question me Khushi, but it's okay. I understand your reasons. But come to me if you need anything or have any problem. Don't hesitate"
"Okay". Khushi agreed
Khushi was engrossed in the files given by Aman all day .After some initial details Khushi frowned up on some details in file. She then took her mobile and made some phone calls. At evening both Akash and Arnav asked her to wait so they can take her home with them . But she refused and said she will take a rickshaw.
After she reached home and freshened up she joined her Jiji in the kitchen. Later that night Naniji asked about her day in AR.
"It was nice naniji, the team I am given is very friendly ."She said the same answer she said her Jiji which Payal asked her during their dinner preparations.
After dinner when Khushi returned to her room, Arnav too asked her about her first day in his office and she was all positive.so he again asked her to come to him directly if she has any difficulty in coping with the new environment.
Next day Aman was amused to see Khushi submitting the report.
"You could have taken time in preparing the report Gupta. The project report is already finalized. I just wanted to know about your insight about this project." He thought Khushi was submitting it soon to impress her bosses.
