a/n's pov.
"Sunghoon!" She said waving her hand.
"Hi, Sooyoung. Did you hear about the news already?" Sunghoon asked.
"Yep, we're gonna have a school party. Do you have a partner already?" She asked hoping that she still has a chance to be his partner.
"Not yet. Do you want to be my partner?" He asked.
"Yeah, sure I guess." she said blankly without looking him in the eye. Although her heart was about to explode.
sooyoung's pov.
The party takes place today and I'm getting ready. I put on a long-sleeved dress. The ball isn't really a big thing for me.
I don't really wear jewelry but I think it's a good time for me to do so. I grabbed the necklace lying on my vanity table and a bracelet with a lock design inside my jewelry box.
I'm inside the venue now and I can't seem to find Sunghoon. I talked to Yerin and Eunha while waiting for Sunghoon. The party hasn't started so i walked around for awhile.
"Sorry for making you wait," I heard a soft voice as i turned around to see it was Sunghoon.
"Don't worry, it's okay." I assured him.
"Shall we dance?"
He took my hand as we danced.
It felt like time stopped when sunghoon hugged me. I hugged him back and after I realized everyone was staring at us. When tbe music stopped, I immediately went out.
I walked really fast after the music stopped and when everyone went back to their seats so I felt like something dropped but I didn't mind nor care to come back and get it.
I ran to the garden where I saw someone sitting.
"Are you okay?"
I was heavily breathing out of exhaustion from walking fast from the dance hall to the garden located at the back so i just nodded at his question.
"Thank you," I said and quickly walked away while my head was facing down.
I didn't know who the guy was, but he's probably another student from our school. I also didn't know where I should head to.
I'm too embarassed to go back inside. Everyone literally saw me running away from THE Park Sunghoon. My things are there but Yerin will probably bring it back to me though so I have nothing to worry about.
I just walked to the other side of the garden. I sat down admiring the view from afar. It was a great breather, and I enjoyed just sitting there.
