Early that next morning, Iris woke up feeling cold and yet warm at the same time. Part of her still missed the presence of her little brother and yet she felt tender and loved by that of her mothers which she swore deep down made her slowly appreciate the same sex as much as she'd like to. When eight thirty rolled around, Iris was prepared for her adventure to school as she hoped it would provide any clues as to why she and her mothers were trapped in Westview. As Gianna took her daughter to school, Wanda was left momentarily alone.

As she watched her loved ones drive off out of sight, Wanda stood at the front door, contemplating her decision to look around in her back yard. With nearly twenty minutes to waste, Wanda made her way to the back yard and looked down at the spot where her son died, almost visually picturing his body where he touched the scythe belonging to the skeleton in her backyard. Curiously, she used her magic which seemed to instantly remove the dirt covering the skeleton where she could get a better look at it.

Wanda could tell that finding a skeleton in her backyard was quite the find, especially if it was a dinosaur bone, but since it was a human skeleton in her back yard that came with a scythe that fitted the right hand of said skeleton where the hand was missing, it was most peculiar. Using her powers, Wanda controlled the skeleton and removed it from the hole and placed it down on the ground so she could examine it closer. Suddenly, she broke down from feeling the deathly vibes that radiated from the scythe which she knew claimed the life of her son.

With one singular word, Wanda muttered something that channelled a mere fragment of her power as with that one word, she was no longer alone. Slowly, the skeleton reanimated and slowly raised itself up to its feet as it took human form as layers began to mould together before black armour appeared on the body; a purple cape appeared out of thin air as Wanda stood by helplessly as the scythe attached to the right hand. Letting out a slight gasp, Wanda clenched her fists as she analysed the man whose scythe claimed the life of her son.

"Ahh... thank you. I have never felt more alive!" The man sighed, smiling as he took deep breaths.

"Enjoy it while it lasts." Wanda muttered coldly.

"I think not, my dear..."

In an attempt to jump the redhead, the man swung his scythe at her which just missed her stomach as she used her magic to control the scythe from being swung at her a second time which left him hanging a few inches off the ground by his scythe as she stared ominously at him with red eyes.

"You took my son... now I take your life," said Wanda in her Sokovian accent.

Then and there, the man deeply regretted even thinking he could overcome the red-haired woman possessing incredible amounts of magic.

"W-W-Wait!" The man choked out. "I-I can br-bring him b-b-b-back..."

As her curiosity got the better of her, Wanda eased her deathly grip over the man so to hear him out.

"I can... I can bring you your precious boy back, so long as you give me something... in return."

"I don't believe you," snarled Wanda.

"In exchange for the boy's soul, I only ask you give me one in return, so that I may live once more."

"Only if you stay the hell away from my family."

Chuckling lightly, Wanda allowed him to control his right arm as he fired a yellow shot of electricity towards the grave of her son as she watched with curiosity as after moments passed, muffled banging came from the grave as Wanda's heart lifted as well as her grasp on the man with two bones formed in an X and a sky on top as she scampered to dig open William's grave. Desperately, Wanda used her magic to help her throw dirt from in front of the tilted cross that had William's name on it before she laid eyes on the wooden coffin and tore it out before she did the same to the lid which came flying off, almost hitting the backyard door as Wanda found herself staring face to face with her formerly late son, now alive and well.
