"I forbid you to eat meat," I deadpanned.
Caleb's bottom lip trembled and his ling (penis) was standing up. After the emotional trip in the fields (for Caleb it was emotional), we covered at least almost half of the forest with Caleb carrying me against his back. We set up a pyram for the night (and to my utter disgust), built a mushroom house, and ate a fruity dinner.
"Please Lucian! I must hunt for meat. My sexual desires are rising again and I do not want to hurt you," he reasoned out.
"You will not hurt me. I will welcome your ling with supreme joy," I stated emotionlessly and opened my arms. Caleb blushed and if it was even more possible, his ling got bigger. He turned around and grabbed his hair roughly.
"I shall not take advantage of my innocent mate! Stop having dirty thoughts!" He gritted out. Caleb turned around and clasped his hands together to beg. "I really need to eat, Lucian. I can even eat a mantikhoras if it makes you any better."
I raised a questionable brow at him. "How will you, eating that man-eating creature, make me any better?" Just imagining him chewing on a dead mantikhoras made me flinch.
Caleb looked up to process an answer. "If I eat that creature, it won't be causing any more harm for other creatures! I would be eating for a cause!" He cheered.
I would like to give him a round of applause for giving me such a witty response but I was still against him killing something.
But...his eyes looked desperate and he seemed to be unhappy which just made me nod my head at him. If he would avoid killing harmless creatures then I guess it was acceptable."Fine then, go and look for your food," I sighed. Caleb's mood brightened up and he enveloped me in a tight hug.
"Gratias tibi (thank you), I will hurry up! Don't wait for me and get some rest mi amore," he cooed and gave my cheek a long lick downwards towards my neck. He then went to my arms and began to lick the accessible areas along with my legs. I have never thought that I would be licked by a werewolf.
"The other minor animals won't harm you with my scent on you. It's just my saliva but it will do for the meantime," he informed me.
"What's stronger than your saliva?" I questioned which just made him blush furiously.
Caleb fidgeted in his place and he covered his reddened face with his palms. "You'll know when we do...it," he said and then turned around again and pulled his hair roughly. "I am so embarrassed!"
When he finally returned back into his sane self, he faced me once more and gently placed a soft kiss on my lips. I watched his closed eyes as he kissed me. He told me that kissing was love. Does this mean that he loved me? Do I love him too? This was confusing. Can I kiss Lucius too? What was his definition of love?
As he was about to pull back and remove his soft lips against mine, I held his shoulders firmly and tiptoed so that he wouldn't draw back. Caleb's eyes opened widely and we stared at each other. His eyes gleamed bright red from the darkness and this time, he pulled back quickly and faced to his side to look away from me.
"I need to get out of here quickly..." he murmured to himself. He must be really craving for meat that he had that serious look on his face. "I'll be back as soon as possible," he said.
With that statement, Lucius' face and words flashed in my head and made my heart twist. "I have to stop this one. You don't have to worry about me. You trust me, don't you?"
Caleb turned around and started to jog into the darkness. I watched with this negative and helpless feeling inside of me as he was consumed by the darkness. I raised my hand towards the blackness that took in Caleb. My mouth opened and closed. I tried to find the words that could express what I want to say to him but I know that even if I do manage to say it...Caleb already left.
