It was a scenery of beauty poisoned by the venom of death. It was a world contained in a stony structure which I didn't expect considering how small the entrance was. The ceiling was the purple sky with dark clouds resting above the ruined kingdom hidden behind the eyes of the seeker. There was a narrow lake trailing towards the floating ruins. There were some parts of wooden infrastructures floating in the lake. The land that framed the dirty waters had withered trees and rotting houses. The background of the floating castle

was an arch of waterfalls where dead trees sprang in some parts, splitting the water and making them look more artful.

I could see different beings running and flying around. Most of them were kids and those who just stepped on the early stage of adolescence. There was a faint rotting smell lingering in the air. When some children saw the twins, they immediately brightened up and ran to greet them both.

"Welcome back fratres! (brothers!)"

Sevor picked up one child with little transparent wings and threw her up in the air only for her to fly away and giggle. Slade ignored the greetings with a blank look on his face. I watched how warm Sevor was and how cold Slade was.

Wye Fye was smiling at Sevor who was interacting sweetly with the children. I diverted my gaze at the waters and wish to revive this already decomposing place.

Why do they live here? They can travel anywhere they want with the twins and migrate to where there was actual life. Why do they agonize themselves in living here?

A little boy ran up to me with wide eyes. He had a green bandana wrapped over his whole upper head with strands of purple hair peeking out. I noticed that he had loss one tooth in his upper front and his clothes were ragged and dusty. "Wow, joli (pretty)." The kids that heard him flocked around me. Their little hands began to touch my skin as they fussed at how smooth and glowing it was.

"That's because he grew up with a golden spoon in his mouth," I heard Wye Fye comment. I cocked my head at her in question. She had her eyebrows furrowed at me.

"I do not understand. My mouth is currently unoccupied. Please do not make up stories. My kind is always glowing."

Wye Fye crossed her arms over her breast. "You mean your kind that's selfish and arrogant?"

"Yes, my kind who behaves just like you," I replied in approval which just angered her even further. Why was everyone infuriated when I agree with them?

"You better watch your mouth ancient. You are in OUR territory and unless you want to get your wounds checked, you better show respect."

"I do not have a mirror to watch my mouth. Will you care to provide? And to correct you, I was forced to come here against my non-existent free will. I do not want to get my wounds checked. I only desire to return back to my werewolf companion."

The boy who approached me first, gasped. "Werewolf? I'm a werewolf mister!" He proudly said.

The little girl who flew earlier swooped down with a loud giggle. "I'm a fairy!" She said.

"I'm a dwarf!" Another child introduced and the rest of the children followed and informed me of their race.

I heard no ancient from them which was understandable since 98% of the population was hiding in the tree. 2% consisted of Lucius and I.

"Slade, do me a favor and get your mate out of my sight!" She snarled. I observed her pointed ears and guessed that she was an elf. Slade clucked his tongue and glared at her.

"Do what she says Slade," Sevor commanded in the same stern face.

When it came to Sevor, Slade can still obey him. He seem to rebel most under Wye Fye. "Fine, I'll take OUR mate. Be sure to calm your perfect tik (bitch) before she explodes and I wish she will."
