"Arrivederci."

"Goddammit, Lucian!" Slade shouted. Fenris jumped over their bodies and bolted away. I held on tight on his dark and fuzzy fur and watched as the colors of the forest fade away as we raced through it. Fenris really seemed to be in a hurry to leave.

He just kept on running and running, leaping over a creek, hopping to one fallen tree to another until we reached a moss covered cabin. I heard the werewolf heave from exhaustion. I got down from him and the wolf shakily walked and fell to his side. He slowly transformed back into Caleb and the naked man was just as tired as his wolf.

I squatted in front of his face and placed my hand on top of his head. "Are you alright?"

Caleb nodded with his eyes closed. I looked around us and found that the forest was unharmed still. Why those people back there decided to stay inside a cave that was rotten to its core will forever be a mystery to me. But then again, I only say that it was a mystery to kindly and considerately cover up Wye Fye's selfishness. It wasn't mystery, it was Wye Fye's idiocy and self-centered being.

You have gotten what you wanted Wye Fye. You were now surrounded by the loving stones of the castle. I wish you all the luck. Wye Fye, be strong in there.

I walked towards the cabin and twisted the door knob. It was particularly a foreign feeling to have something in contact with my hand without my gloves. I expected a room that was the same green covered moss as the outside but what was presented to me was a clean and warm place. The bedsheets were newly washed. There was a red carpet spread under the table and a purple chaise longue in front of the fireplace. No one seemed to be at home at the moment. I even checked the bathroom. I got outside to tell Caleb of the cabin. We could rest there for awhile until the owner comes back. Seeing that he must have left it without even locking the door, he was inviting visitors to use it and abuse it. Thank you owner.

I squatted in front of Caleb and poked his forehead. "Caleb...wake up." I elicited no response from the man as he let out soft breaths. "I will carry you then," I sighed. I got onto my knees and lifted his arm. "If you wake up with bruises and broken bones, please know that I did my best in carrying you there. Those are the proof of my care and desire for you to rest on a bed," I deadpanned. I grunted when I wrapped his arm over my neck and placed my other arm around his waist. He was heavy. I stood up, carrying his body with me. He couldn't even move his legs.

This was impossible. My body was already shaking just from his weight and we haven't moved an inch from where we stood. "Ca-Caleb..." I wheezed. I took heavy breaths and took one step at a time, making sure that I lifted Caleb's slipping body. When my arms couldn't lift him any further, I 'accidentally' dropped him to the floor. I grabbed both of Caleb's feet and pulled him towards the Cabin. This was much easier. Superb. I pulled Caleb over the stairs leading to the door and saw his head giving a thud sound which each stair. We got inside the Cabin and I closed the door. Now that I got him here, my problem would be lifting his body to the bed. I let out another sign and then got on my knees in front of his head. I placed his chin against my neck and then wrapped his arms over my shoulders and then raised my leg, lifting his body together with me and then fully stood up. Our rise was shaky. I had to balance our bodies or both of us would have fallen. I walked backwards to the bed, hugging Caleb against me. I didn't notice that we were already near until my knees hit the edge of the softness and I fell backwards, taking Caleb with me.

I grunted from the heaviness that fell on me and the lips that touched my own without the owner knowing. Our position was like that for awhile until Caleb rolled to the side and continued with his slumber. Having lips touching mine was a wonderful feeling. I remembered Caleb saying that it was a way to tell someone that you love them.
