I know.
You throw me away without a second thought when someone new comes along,
knowing that I'll be right back by your side for when they decide that you aren't worth their time.
Something I wish I could do.
You come back to me when you realize that your story with another is ending,
but little do you know,
my story begins every time you come back to me.
I wait for you like a dusty book on a shelf,
waiting for a rainy day, knowing that
I'm better off on the days the sun shines.
When your away.
But I need you.
Like the air I breath.
Like the bed I sleep.
Where I dream of a time I can finally walk away. Away from you.
