Never Be Apart

CHAPTER 5

I just woke up to the noise of people talking in the living room, I think they were just Dad's guests because he needed them so that people would know him more.

I decided to get up and take a shower. Today is Saturday, it's been five days since my embarrassment happened at school. Some treat me well, there is a lot of support and of course, the bashers will not be lost. I told them several times that there's nothing going on between Ashden and me because what happened isn't true but I think their brains were really narrow and they still continued to believe what that kumag said.

While taking a bath I heard the door to my bedroom open. I think maybe it's just Yoon Gi who's planning to make tease me again. He was also one of the people who teased me at school, he even called me "Ashden's girl". When I remembered that, I was disgusted and annoyed.

As for Ashden, I don't know what's gotten into him but in those five days, he always sent flowers to my locker. Sometimes it's at my desk when I enter our room. How do I know it's from him? The word "For my girl -Ashden" is still there, it terrifies me when I remember that! Every day I always throw the things he gives me in the trash of our room.

Papa's election is going well, before it starts, there will be a lot of votes for him. They are the only two running as Mayor and I haven't heard the name of the other one, I don't care either.

"Hoy Yoo Ki, naliligo kaba?" nagulat ako ng boses ni Ah Ki ang marinig ko. Akala ko si Yoon Gi ang pumasok, si Ah Ki pala! Dali dali akong sumagot sa kanya at sinabing mag hintay ng ilang minuto dahil patapos na din naman ako.

When I got out of the cr I saw him lying on my bed. He's even with Natsumi and Haruki! I did not expect that they were going here.

"Oh? Naligo ka? Congrats" ani Haruki nang mapalingon sa akin saglit at tinuloy na ang pag cecellphone.

"Congrats 2" dagdag ni Natsumi. Si Ah Ki naman ay nakigaya ngunit pinakita lang sa akin ang sign na number 3 gamit ang daliri.

"Anong ginagawa niyo dito?" tanong ko nalang habang nag aayos sa harap ng salamin, nakatalikod sa kanila.

"Tumatambay?", pabalang na tanong ni Haruki. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin sa salamin ngunit hindi naman siya sa akin nakatingin.

"Your BOY is on the balcony with your parents", walang ano ano'y sabi ni Natsumi. Nagtaka ako kung ako ba ang kausap niya at sinong boy ang tinutukoy niya ngunit nanlaki ang mata ko ng marealize na baka si Ashden iyon!

"Ano? Si Ashden andito?" I said in panic and then put the comb on the desk and was about to run out but I stopped when I heard them laughing. I was surprised to look at them again, they couldn't stop themselves from laughing.

"Hindi naman siya nag banggit ng pangalan", ani Ah Ki. Natatawa pa rin.

"Oo nga. Napaghahalataan ah", pang aasar naman ni Haruki. Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin sa inis at lumapit sa kanila at kumuha ng unan para hampasin, sabay sabay naman silang umilag!
