The men left after making sure the handcuffs were secured tight enough to keep them in place for a couple hours. It was almost guaranteed that there would be markings on their wrists for a few days if they were to be released.
The two 'love birds' cuffed to hooks hanging from the ceiling, that left them just enough slack to touch the ground with their forefoot. She could feel the fear in her heart and blood rushing from her arms that were raised.
If it weren't for Erwins training, she would have been easily tired from pushing herself up on her feet. Levi who has been in similar situations, did his best not to worry his fiancé and keep a stone cold expression. A few minutes passed before she spoke.
"You are such an asshole... I can't even understand what you were thinking," (Y/n) sighed.
Levi huffed, "I thought it would be romantic... not titanic, but close enough right?"
"Levi! We were kidnapped!!"
"Don't say my actual name," he coughed, "From now on, we are Germans on a honeymoon, don't talk..."

"When?" He sounded angry, whispering into his phone while (Y/n) was taking her time in the shower. The night before was so good, so much progress was made. It was a great end to the day.
But when you take one step forward, you'll end up taking two steps back.
"Well you better make sure my men are in place, if we have no backup then I swear to god I will kill everyone by myself, including you!" He hung up before the person could respond, and threw his phone on the bed in a fit of rage.
A weekend without any problems. That was all Levi asked. He hasn't asked that before. With all the man power he has, someone still leaked the information of his vacation.
(Y/n) slowly exited the bathroom, feeling awkward about what he yelled out in his fit of anger. A quick reminder of how Levi can be scary, but with her, he has his child mode on. He was patient and understanding, he tried to be at least.
"What was that about?" She asked slowly, unsure if she wanted to know or not. But it sounded urgent.
Levi stared at her for a moment.
Lie? Or tell her the truth?
It was easy for him to lie, but not so easy for him to lie to her. Hange said to start letting his wall down around her will be better in the long run. Apparently people like to feel connected to their husbands, even if they are gang leaders.
