He was mysterious, dangerous, cold, insensitive, and down right rude.
But-
He loved you to hell and back. No matter what, no one would have you, except him. Not even if you didn't love him back.
Why?
He's Levi Ackerman. That's why.

A young blond child ran to her mother, blue eyes reflected the light on that sunny day. Her mother quickly welcomed her into her arms and carried the five year old to safety, guards running in front and behind them. A gunshot could be heard followed by a thud echoed down the hallway as men aimed at each other.
Annie was not a stranger to guns or gun shots. She once saw a man risk his life for hers when she could barely remember.
"Quickly ma'am! They are fast approaching." A guard yelled as he heard more men coming. They ran out the door and he shot two enemies down.
"Three o'clock!" Someone shouted, more shots went off and men in black suits from the right fell to the ground. They all had something embroidered on their suits. But Annie couldn't get close enough for a clear look as she was trying to grasp the idea of being this close to death at five years old.
A armored car sped up to them and stopped, "ma'am and young miss! Get in!" A man yelled. The doors opened and they were ushered inside. As quick as they were opened, they were shut once again.
"Where are we going?" The mother asked.
"To an ally. Mr.Leonhart ordered you to be protected in a secure spot. One that is neutral, where it's against the rules to hurt them." The driver responded.
"Neutral? They won't be when they have us under their roof. This isn't a good idea." She argued. Neutrality came at a price, while you were able to deal with different groups at their will, they also could not be obvious on which group they favor the most.
He smiled. "They are when they are also housing an enemy of ours. Not one who would hurt the young miss, but enough disfavor where it doesn't break neutrality."

Bertolt Hoover. Marketing family dealing with both food, gadgets, and most importantly, weaponry and man power. They trained men in most forms of combat. As well as they had good grasp on producing well made weapons. This is what made them important for almost every gang and mafia, but mostly on the gang spectrum.
