"Where are we?"

"La Grenouille. It's a restaurant." Levi states as he helps her out of his car. They were parked a couple feet away from the restaurant. Many people were waiting outside the building in hopes to get a table. Levi took (Y/n) by the hand and walked passed them all. He approached the table and waited till the employee looked up.

"Excuse me, sir, this restaurant requires a reservation. If you do not have one, please wait in line." The waiter seemed a little stressed, from it being a busy day. But he kept his composure.

Levi sighed, "I have a reservation in the private room for 6:30, if this is a problem then I can go else where. Under Levi Ackerman."

The waiter seemed to panic a little before gently grabbing the arm of a waitress and whispering something in her ear before grabbing two menus and showing a million dollar smile. "Mr.Ackerman, of course. I apologize, your room is ready for you." (Y/n) looked around at the very nice French styled restaurant. It seemed perfect to the T.

But nothing compared to the romantic private room waiting for them. The sealing was lifted high with perfect lighting. The round table had two dark oak chairs, and on top of the tablecloth was a lovely bouquet of (c) roses. The waitress from before had quickly walked in with a bottle of champagne. "On the house, sir and madam. Compliments of the head chef, in hopes of a wonderful evening."

Levi pulled out a chair, which she sat down slowly as she was slightly overwhelmed. They got settled, looking at the menu, (Y/n) gasped. "$125 for a meal!? Levi, I would have been fine with (fast food restaurant). What am I even supposed to order?"

"It is a full course meal, (L/n)." But after ten minutes and still not decided, Levi ordered for them. (Y/n) was taking sips and sips of the champagne, basking in the silence that was their dinner. After about another fifteen minutes and the first meal, Levi finally spoke, "How was your day?"

"My day? Petra doesn't give you the run down?" She took another bite of the small portion meal.

"Yes, she did. But I want to hear it from you. Since you wouldn't tell me if I didn't ask."

"Boring. Stuck inside and played dress up. Now I'm on a date with a sociopath. Don't know what to tell you," she smirked a little at her joke/not joke. (Y/n) couldn't help but be a little more sarcastic in his presence. "What about you?"

"I had a early morning meeting about New York's crime rate. Making a plan to find a rivals base of operations so we can assert who is king around here. Then I had to confirm the reservations for today, as well as meet with my men about a operation taking place next year." He didn't lie, but never gave her the whole truth. Not until she is used to the lifestyle he lives. Did he leave out the part where he had the interrogate a group of new gang members that stepped on his territory. As well as a meeting with her father about how she was.

She moved the piece of spinach around, "What operation?"

No, he couldn't tell her that. Or else his plan wouldn't work. She might distance herself if he told her. For now, he said "secret."

"I thought married people don't tell keep secrets."

"We aren't married yet darling."

A small silence settled once again, but after the second course, they agreed to just trade questions to keep the room from silence. Such as, what they did with their time apart; she hid and kept low, and he was busy getting ready to take over his fathers position as well as finding his fiancé. Or their favorite colors, and favorite pass time. The normal things one would want to know about their spouse.

But they aren't normal.

"I think you should take martial arts lessons," Levi finished the last meal of the night. Champagne gone, but he wasn't near drunk. "Or at least learning how to hold a gun."

"My father once let me hold one. That didn't last long."

"That's because he didn't like the idea of his 'princess' growing up and having to use that skill. But after seeing at what lengths you'll go to run away from me, it's in both of our best interest that you are capable to defend yourself."

"I am." She snapped. But Levi wouldn't back down.

He rolled his eyes as he wiped the sides of his mouth. "You didn't defend yourself against me when we first met, and you gave up when faced against a ledge versus myself."

"I didn't give up. You cornered me at the top of a tall building, what was I supposed to do? Jump down three stories and break my back?" She looked at him like he was a mad man, which she believed he was.

Levi didn't hesitate to agree, "Yes. (Y/n), I don't know how to get this through your head, but you can't give up in this life style. You didn't decide to be the daughter of a gangster, but you are. Your father babied you, but I won't. For your safety. I will have a ally of mine come in a teach you starting next week."

Here he was, once again. Deciding things for her. But recalling her dream within the past couple days, she didn't retaliate like she wanted to.

And she promised herself one thing.

Play along. And you'll gain freedom.

"Ok, Levi."

He was a little shocked, to say the least. Yes, she was strong and independent. But she was also defiant and hated when others ordered her to do things she didn't want to do. "You agree?" He questioned to make sure he didn't mishear. (Y/n) nodded softly. "Good, my close ally Erwin will help you in combat and teach you the basics of handling a gun. He is a tough teacher."

"Can we do something else tonight?" She suddenly asked. "I don't want to talk about this anymore. I'm also done eating."

Levi thought for a moment, looking at his Rolex. It was a good time. "Yes. We should go to the ball. Now is a good time to practice and introduce you to others under my command."

"Ball? What ball?"

"I told you a couple days ago that there was going to be a party that requires your attendance. Tonight is not the night, but I did call my men and women to host a small gathering that will help prepare you for the real deal in three days." He explained, as the waiter came by, he handed him three hundred dollar check and stood, "let's go."

As they exited the restaurant, she broke out of her shock, "wait. I didn't realize this was the plan. I'm not mentally ready. Levi!"

(Y/n) only had ten minutes to prepare before she mad met his whole unit of people. Levi explained that he has yet to take total control of his fathers 'company.' So he was in charge of a large portion of it, and had a mission to do before he could succeed his father. The people she would meet tonight are the sub leaders and close members of his control.

She expected thirty or so men in matching suits with sunglasses standing still like statues. But when she arrived, it seemed like a family feel. Levi, being the father and everyone looking up to him in some light. Mostly men, but a good female representation. The women who were either men's wife's or in charge of the women groups were very welcoming toward
(Y/n), treating her with respect for having to deal with Levi Ackerman.

For someone so short, he is highly looked up to.

Hah, nice one (Y/n).

"Erwin, this will be your pupil starting next week. She's a brat, but with frustration comes the need to prove she can do it."

She looked up to the very tall and very sexy man who wore a shirt that seemed a little tight. She couldn't help but blush a little at the man. Luckily the makeup covered her face. "H-Hello," she muttered and held her hand out. He gripped her hand and shook.

"Hello, I can't wait to get started."

Levi saw how (Y/n) was slightly checking out the man in front of him. He couldn't control the jealousy that raged inside him. "Goodbye Erwin." He growled and took his fiancé by her wrist and quickly led her away.

It was going to be a long night.
