He was mysterious, dangerous, cold, insensitive, and down right rude.
But-
He loved you to hell and back. No matter what, no one would have you, except him. Not even if you didn't love him back.
Why?
He's Levi Ackerman. That's why.

She hated him. She was suspicious of her parents. It was a lot to deal with as a child.
But she never met with him again after that. Only when she started the second grade, did he appear in her life. He enrolled in her class. And quickly became the leader of the boys. She, had friends, but never called him a friend. Levi was her enemy.
In return, he never talked to (Y/n). Unless needed.
"(Y/n)," he called out one day. She refused to stop walking towards the busses. "Hey!" His little legs ran faster to catch up. When he grabbed the back of her (c) backpack, she got yanked back. "Listen to me. Brat. My parents are inviting you to hang out after school on Thursday."
"Good thing it's Wednesday. And I don't want to go, anyway." Her voice was monotone and unamused. Levi frowned. She simply didn't care.
He let her go, and she went on her way.
But the next day, he wouldn't let her go. More importantly, her parents made her. Saying that, "It's a good bonding moment with your fiancé."
No. (Y/n) hated it.
So when both rode in the black sports car to his house, all they did was play chess. On the bright side, he was nice enough to teach her. Even though, he kept winning every time. At some point, she disobey the rules and flick his Queen off the board.
"What the heck brat!? I was about to win!"
"Sometimes you have to break the rules to get what you want," (Y/n) scoffed. "I win." After taking her own queen and pushing his other pieces off the board.
He took a pawn and threw it at her. It hit her clothes shoulder, a small cry in pain was let out. "What the heck, Levi!?"
He smirked. The smirk that you wanted to punch off someone's face. But she was a proper lady, so Of corse, she couldn't. That didn't stop her from throwing a pawn of her own.
This started a war.
(Y/n) abandoned her spot on the couch to move behind a chair near by. Levi did the same, moving himself behind the couch. Pawns, Knights, Kings, Queens. All were thrown across the room, some hitting their target, others...not so much.
As much as they hated each other; laughter filled the room. Who knew it was so much fun to throw small objects?
But the fun stopped when Levi's butler came into the room and was hit by a wooden knight. Both children stopped. (Y/n) put her small hands over her mouth.
"Children..." he started. "It is time to Ms.(L/n) to go home..." the professional butler didn't break character as he exited the room.
It was silent, only for a moment.
"Nice going, (Y/n)."
"It's not my fault!"
"You threw it!"
"No, you did!"
"No I didn't!"
"It's your knight!"
"You started it-"
The girls parents came in, talking cheerfully with Levi's mother. After a small visit, and making the children clean their mess, the (L/n) family left with their daughter.
