We were all walking back when I felt someone pull me away. When I looked up I noticed that it was Adam. For the first time in forever I noticed how much more handsome he had gotten over the summer. He was also growing light stubble and looked a little built.
" Can you stop staring at me like that? You're making it so hard for me not to kiss you right now. ", Adam whispered in my ear while holding my waist.
" Then do it.", I responded with a smirk on my face. Without hesitation he kissed me so hard and I could tell just how much he missed me and I made sure he felt how much I missed him too.
" Ana please just say you'll be my girlfriend. I've been waiting too long."
" Yes Adam. I'll be your girlfriend."

Me and Adam have been dating for about 3 years now and I honestly can't be any happier. We even got voted as best couple by our graduating class. Another thing, we've both been offered Hockey Scholarships along with Charlie. Sadly Charlie is declining due to a better scholarship he got for mechanics.
We only have one problem. Mine is in Los Angeles and Adam's is in Chicago. I knew this was gonna happen but there's nothing we can do. These are amazing opportunities and there's no way in hell I'm letting him give it up. I knew that he wouldn't want me doing that either. Neither one of us has brought it up into an actual conversation to discuss what will happen after but I think it's because we kind of already know what will come along with it. I leave two days after graduation, which is tomorrow, and Adam leaves the month after. This is only because I'll be one of the only two girls who got offered this and I need to try out for the only spot available for one of us. We'd be playing on an all guy's team ( no problem ) and there was only space for one girl because they didn't want to make this like a high school team. This was a University team that would lead a couple of us to go into the NHL.
I push it in the back of my head as I start packing all my stuff so I can start sending it to my dorm they have for me out in LA. They said if I made the team then they'd get me my own apartment.
Once the clock hits 3 a.m. I finally decide to get some sleep because I had a longer day ahead of me. Finally, the day I've been waiting for since I started. To get my diploma and make my parents proud.
