I talked to coach and he said that if all goes good with my doctor's appointment today then he'll have me practicing. Obviously it'll be light practice because it'd be fucken horrible to throw me in and have me play like I used to. But hey, it's better than nothing.

Once at the hospital, they ran the usual basic tests before I got to see my actual doctor. He reviewed the tests and made me do a couple exercises to see. Judging by his expression, I feel he has mixed feelings about this.

" You know the consequences, right? If it's too much then it'll be really bad. It'll be really serious. There's not much. "

I quickly nodded and looked down, knowing everything I had on the line. After what seemed forever, I heard him writing something down then showing it to me. It was permission to practice again.

" Go out there and live like you don't have much left. "

I hugged him with all my might and ran out. While driving I called Adam to let him know and he decided we needed to go out to celebrate.

Looking at myself in the mirror I couldn't help but get sad at how much change I had gone through. To anyone else it can't be noticed by but to me, it's everything.

I started feeling a little dizzy and suddenly exhausted but ignored it. Come on Ana, not now. You got this.

* Adam's POV *

I was so happy for Ana. The one I love was finally going to be able to go back and do something we both love. Makes me the happiest person ever. It's also perfect timing too. Yes, in case you couldn't tell, I'm gonna propose.

I feel this time things are perfect and we can do it. The Ducks and both of our teams are currently helping me. Nothing but the best for my girl.

We were all adding the last touches when I heard my phone ring next to the ring box in my pocket.
