You do not realize how pissed I was to find out that I couldn't continue play. I was even more pissed that Canada won. It was so bad that for a whole week I didn't talk to anyone. Probably just a mix of emotions.

Me and Adam headed home with silver and me with a broken collar bone and 10 weeks out of regular season that was hittin' up it's peak. Beyond mad but at least could skate with them at practices. It would still get me mad when they would fuck up on a play in both practice and games, and yes, they'd still hear a yelling from me. Because if I didn't then who would.

This whole accident kinda put mine and Adam's relationship to the test but it was perfectly fine. He showed his support for me and that's all I needed. He was patient with me even when I wasn't. He's my rock and I seriously love him. Beyond words.

Since I'm kinda on a break or whatever you'd like to call it, I do get to fly out to see Adam at his games quite a bit more. Which I really enjoy because I also get to bond with the girlfriends/wives and get to know the team.

At the moment, life is almost perfect. I just need to handle one thing first, getting back on that ice soon.
