I am beyond happy. Just the fact of having this wonderful opportunity right after celebrating my 23 birthday. Sochi is so beautiful and being able to spend it with my loved ones mainly my wonderful boyfriend Adam. Things have been a lot better now and I feel like this time is actually the right time. Also, practices for preparations for these games has been just perfect. I really hope we cam bring the gold. We've already played multiple games and have been undefeated. Just like Canada. We have one more game until we know who's getting that gold. The only bad thing is that I have been feeling a little sick but I'm sure it's nothing serious. Adam had his final game at the same time as ours which sucked because I really wanted to support him but there's not much I could do.

* 3rd period *

We were up by one and barely holding up. The guys lost by one point so Canada took this win. It seemed as if everyone was going after me. I was sore and hella tired but I was not giving up. Not today.

I raced all the way down to the loose puck before I got checked again. Except this time I couldn't get up. It seemed as if my body just shut down. Then when I opened my eyes I just saw black spots all around. All I feel is screaming and yelling, my team fighting, Adam and paramedics running towards me. I wanted to stay in the game I could hear myself plea softly but no one would listen. Fuuuuuuck, this is not gonna be good for both them or me.
