I decided to take a nap as I was waiting for Connie. It was actually relaxing until I heard loud and harsh knocking on my door. I was about to cuss out whoever was on the other side till I saw it was my best friend. Poor Connie, she looked like she was about to kill someone yet trying to stay calm.

" Connie what's up?"
" I am just gonna come out with this because if I sugarcoat it I know it'll hurt more. Adam cheated on you last night and Guy caught him. "

I felt as if my world was crumbling down, but there was no way in hell I was gonna show it. I didn't even know how to respond and Connie noticed that because she began to quickly explain everything. How Guy caught him in the act and that she decided to come out to tell me in person and watch over me in case of anything.

I'm not gonna lie, I really did cry but I knew I was better than that. It just hurt that he threw everything away just like that. We were gonna get married for crying out loud.

I was getting ready to take a shower when the phone rang. Looking down at the caller I.D. I saw that it read my contact name for Adam. Just breathe Ana, breathe.

" Hello? "
" Hi sweetheart please hear me out and know it was a mistake and tha- ", I cut him off.
" No. I heard everything I needed to hear and it's over Adam and you fucked up bad. I need to focus on my career and I need to cut you out of my life now. I'll send the ring with Connie. Goodbye Adam. "

I hung up before he could respond and it finally hit me that it no longer would be Ana and Adam. Just Ana.
