I was awoken from my Saturday sleep by a loud knock on my front door followed by some light sobbing. As I opened the door I saw the body of my best friend on my front porch quietly sobbing into her hands. This had become a sight I had gotten used to seeing these past three days ever since her and Guy had broken up.

" Come on Connie. Let's get you inside to get cleaned up so we can go and have a girls' day. "

She nodded and I got her a towel and led her to the restroom so she could shower while I got out another change of clothing for her. Once I left it outside her door. I decided to quickly change and make us lunch. When we both finished we started walking to the mall, which wasn't that far from my house. As we were walking there I just listened to her as she let all her feelings out. I realized that she really didn't need any advice, she just needed someone to hear her out.

First, we both decided to go and shop for California. I mean in Minnesota when will you wear a bathing suit. It's freaking freezing all year round, except maybe in the summer but ugh you get it. We kept walking and looking around for a couple hours till we made our way to the food court because we got hungry again.

As we were just about to leave home I noticed that Connie was in a much better mood. That didn't last long though. We ended up running into the one person who had caused her to be like this. Guy. She hadn't noticed him yet but he had noticed her and tried to get her attention but Adam quickly grabbed him and forced him to walk away. Both of us knowing that for right now they just needed time apart and that by the time we were to leave that they'd be back together.
